We didn't hear about it at first, until shortly after the Empire was proclaimed galaxy wide.
It didn't take long for C.T to figure out that this was bad for the rest of the galaxy and the rest of the company, having already rebelled against the government several times, decided that we could do it again.
So, after extensive armour modifications by numerous members of Orange Company 49, we had established ourselves as a mercenary group simply called OC-49, though only we knew the real story and meaning surrounding the name.
So we spent almost the first 15 years of the Empires rule messing with them, numerous slave rings, gladiatorial rings and many other assignments over the course of those 15 years.
Rebelling seemed to be on our blood.
Very few saw it coming at first, but more and more people, and sometimes even entire worlds, began to slowly join the rebel movement that had begun as simple splinter cells that began to merge together.
But Orange Company 49 was never officially a part of the wider rebel movement.
We joined a smaller sub-sect after a certain incident in an Imperial prison that was to not only change our lives individually, but also change the lives of numerous others escaping the tyranny and abuse of the Empire.
And the most benefited of this initiative, was the children she rescued and we helped repair and raise.
That was one of the most rewarding things to ever happen to Orange Company 49.
