Little Ivine

IVINE OPEN HER eyes when she felt a kiss on her cheek and then on the forehead.

She smile as Brace look at her. He did the same and sat down beside her. She place her hands on his shoulder as he is still leaning down to her.

"Good morning," he said, sweet smile not leaving his face.

"'Morning," she replied.

"You okay?"

She nod. "Uhmm. Andito ka na eh."

"I'm was worried right now you know."

Napakurap siya. "Why?"

"Baka sumbatan mo na naman ako dahil sa amoy ko. This is the 10th times I changed my cologne you know."

Ivine laugh gently. "This one smells nice. But not the previous ones. They really stink."

"Love, the last time you said about the last cologne I used was its so nice, but the next day? Inaway mo ako dahil ang pangit ng amoy."

She laugh again. "Perks of being pregnant."

Brace smile and give her a sweet peck on the lips before looking at her again. His hand caressing the side of her belly gently.

"You just arrived?" she ask.

Brace smile and nod lightly. "Yeah. But I had to go back later in the afternoon. Finishing touches."

"I see. Did Manang Jolie cooked something? It smells nice."

Brace smile. "Yeah. All your faves."

"Kaya naman pala."

Natawa ito ng magaan. "You want to get up?"

Tumango siya. "Yeah. I need to go to the bathroom and fix up."

"I should carry you then," he said and get out of her side.

"Mabigat ako," aniya.

"Not at all," he said and pick her up in a bridal style.

He made a grunting sound that made her eyes go big. "I told you."

Brace laugh and she did the same. "I'm just joking. You're really light, love. But, don't you remember anything about our position?"

Napakurap siya at tiningnan ang kanilang posisyon. "Wala. Meron ba?"

"Syempre. I can't believe you didn't remember," he said and shake his head in disbelief.

Ivine laugh lightly. "Then tell me something I forgot."

"The time that we had our happiest night together. It was magical," he said and kiss her lightly on the lips.

Sukat na sinabi nito iyon ay alam niyang namula ang kanyang mga pisngi.

She laugh gently and shook her head. Hinampas niya ito ng magaan sa dibdib kaya natawa rin ito.

"Could you just please go to the bathroom? Ang dami mong sinasabi," aniya.

Brace laugh and so she did. Pumunta na ito ng banyo at marahang ibinaba siya.

"I'll wait for you here. Then let's go down together to eat breakfast. How is that?"

Tumango siya. "Sige. Pero baka mainip ka sa kakahintay. You know na matagal akong mag-ayos."

"It's fine. Baka you need something so I'll get for you. Just go on and I'll just be here."

"Hay naku. Alright," aniya at ngumiti na lang rito.

"Tell me if you want me to join you on the shower," he said as he was about to close the door.
