I looked out of the bus window. All I could see were rocky hills and dull green meadows. The uncomfortable seats wouldn't allow any sleep so I keep staring at the blended monotone that passes by. The only thing I enjoy about this is the time that it gives me to think. My long amber hair glides onto my face. Why do I have to go live with my mother? Where is dad going? The dreary view finally changes scene, a city emerges like a riding bubble into my line of sight. It's truly massive. I pull out the piece of paper from my maroon purse.
"11 Fortestglen Avenue" it reads. The dusty white bus pulls up to a small bus stop.
"All number five passengers please leave the bus!" The bus driver shouts with a worn voice. I grab my pink backpack from the street and attempt to wrench my suitcase from the grip of the overhead storage. Almost flying backwards I pull it out and walk to the front of the bus. I see faces stare at me from every angle. I thank the driver and hop off the bus. After learning how to walk again I sit down on the grey seats and wait for my taxi to arrive.
