Zayn's' POV
1 week later
It has been a week since we left the hospital and, honestly, Liam has only gotten worse. Every little thing would set him off but he still insisted on doing everything that he would normally do, like make sure we went to bed on time and so on. It's a good job we have a house keeper that comes in to do the washing and such!
Louis is almost better and everything is healing perfectly but still has to keep the cast and pot on for a few more weeks, 2 weeks max.
Steph is still on her vitamin pills but is gradually getting better. I noticed that she has been spending a lot of time with Louis recently... I can tell Harry's jealous. He's probably beating himself up about it unless there's something else bugging him. He always comes down with massive bags under his eyes so that's where I got the idea from. I always see him avoiding Steph whenever Louis is around. We've learned a lot about her during the past week, like how she used to be bullied in school and her whole new change from Bridget to Steph. She's pretty inspiring.
Perrie and I thought it would be best if we saved the news of the wedding for everyone else after all the commotion has stopped, and yes Liam knows about it. He even congratulated us and told us how happy he was for us. But even through all the layers of lies he told me about how he was fine and shit, I can tell on the inside, his heart is silently breaking at the thought of Danielle and him getting married.
He's already holding it back more than enough, but every night I hear him crying in his room and thrashing around for what seems like the entire night. If I listen carefully now, I can hear him tossing and turning in his bed. I look at the clock- 1am.
1 frickin' am in morning. Brilliant isn't it. I try to get back asleep but obviously, I can't. So what does one do when they cannot fall asleep? Yep, me being the person I am, have sleeping pills in my bathroom cabinet for special emergencies.
Slowly, I get out of and crack my back whilst stretching. I slip on my slippers and plod over to the bathroom. Advil... Paracetamol... Yadda yadda... Here we go! Sleeping pills! I take out the weird metal thing that you pop to take the pill out, but obviously, with my current luck, I've run out. Great. Looks like I'm going shopping tomorrow... Oh well, I guess I'll just keep lying there until I sleep...
Steph's POV
A cool breeze picked up as I shifted to a lying position on the roof and looked up at all the millions of stars. I pulled my cardigan further around me and rearranged my thin blanket so I was slightly warmer. It's beautiful up there. Silent, peaceful and absolutely stunning. The sparkling diamonds were scattered everywhere in the slightly lightening blue sky and right in the center of it all, a full moon illuminated everything with a warm white glow.
I sighed and looked at my watch. 3:50am. I really shouldn't be doing this.
The sun should be rising soon. I sat up and watched everything. From the moon setting, to the sun rising. I watched as the glowing ball of fire slowly yet majestically peeked up from behind the trees and the moon slowly exit from the opposite side. I could sit here forever just watching the sun and moon. But then again I do that every night anyway. Eventually, by the end of it all, the time had magically flown to 7am. Wow. I was up here the whole night. Again... I've been doing this for the past 5 days. Nowadays, I was just never tired at night! Not even with the help of sleeping pills, sure it would work for the first few hours, but then I'd just wake up again and lie in bed doing nothing.
I should probably get back in before I fall off and break my neck. Slowly, I stretched my arms and lowered myself back into my window. I sorted out my bed and shuffled downstairs with my pink slippers on and sorted out some breakfast for me and the boys.
