Dear diary,

Secrets!
Something that is kept unknown or unseen from other. They could be innocent secrets about hiding your friends crush from the whole world to murderous secrets that could bury you alive even if a single soul knew. Well they could never be good could they? Every traveling secret is like a whisper of wind that you could feel but never see.

I had my own secrets that would bite me back one day. I wanted to start new, leaving my ugly past behind bound with many secrets. But once you let your guard down and poof everything vanishes. I guess I can never run away from it. The people I trust also had secrets that ruined my life. May be today is the last day of my life because He is coming for me, no they are coming for me.

PRESENT DAY

"Is this the last page of the diary officer Jones?" Mrs Brown question the police officer.

"Yes mam the only associative evidence found at the crime scene and here is the final report, crime scene photographs you have asked for." He hands it over carefully to Mrs. Brown.

"Good. Officer Jones I also need the crime scene entry log."

"Yes mam. But if you don't mind may I know why mam?" He questions a little apprehensive.

"Officer we are here to help you solve the case not to get interrogated. Just make sure I have the entry log handed over within an hour. You can leave now." She commands.

"Yes mam." Officer Jones leaves quietly closing the door behind.

"Nosy officers I tell you."

Mrs Brown sighs seeing the diary in her hands.
"What's your story Veronica? Your case has made sure to give a headache to every officer in this town. Let me read from the start" Mrs Brown talks to herself opening the diary.

Hello everyone. Thank you for reading my story "Escape". I promise to make this story more interesting in the further chapters. This is my second story on wattpad and I hope to get all the support needed.
