Hazel was behind the counter reading a book at the library she worked at. She was just minding her own business when someone walked in. It caught her off guard. No one had came in for a few hours. Hazel looked up from her book and looked at them. They had cotton candy pink hair, with part of it shaved at the sides, and a fluffy part on the top. They had black gages and dark blue eyes and peach colored lips. They were wearing a white button up shirt and black skinny jeans with green converse shoes.
Hazel watched them walk over to one of the book shelves. After a moment they had two books. They then walked over to the counter.
They were looking at romance novels, grabbing one or two off the shelf. They walked up to the counter, and asked to check out the books. Their voice was sweet, and it sounded like she was was a woman. Hazel checked out her books, and she left the shop. The girl put the books in a little black bag she had. She then began to walk home. After a few moments, Hazel continued to read her book.
Then out of nowhere, something about the girl caught her eye. There was something about her, that just caught her attention. Hazel decided to follow the girl, because her work shift was almost over anyway. Hazel grabbed her silver lined purse, and walked out the door.
Hazel looked around, trying to see if she could see that girl. She spotted her at a cafe across the street. Hazel headed over to the cafe, and saw that she had taken a seat on the far left side of the building.
The girl pulled out one of the books and began reading. She then took a sip of some ice coffee she had bought.
The book was titled "Dying for Love." She looked up, and seen Hazel. She motioned Hazel over to the table. She took a sip of her iced coffee. "Hello there," she says to Hazel. " I'm Erin. Erin Grover. Nice to meet you Ms...."
"Hazel," Hazel replied to her. " Nice to meet you too, Erin." Erin shrugged her shoulders. "Go grab a coffee., you look parched." Erin directed Hazel to go get some coffee. Hazel grabbed A cup of dark roast coffee with almond milk to give it flavor. Hazel sat back down and started go talk about the cafe. "This place has the best coffee and tea. Sweet tea is very popular here." Hazel told Erin, and Erin nodded. "I've been here before. Only once, though," Erin sighed. " I really think that the place has gotten better since the last time I was here...." Erin again sighed and returned to a her cheerier version of when they first met."Anyway... How are you?"
" I'm fine. Thanks for asking,"
Erin smiled a little.
"...So... What are you doing after this?"
"I am probably just gonna go home and watch a movie, why do you ask?"
"Eh. I don't know. "
Erin slightly shrugged.
"I just wanted to see if you want to maybe hang out and get to know each other since um.. I'll be going to your library a lot. "
"Yeah. Sure."
"Do you like horror movies?" Hazel asked, surprised Erin said yes.
"Because if so.... i have the saw series if you wanna watch it..."
"Hell yes. "
