Dark Past, Brighter Future

Prolouge:

"Daddy, where's mama?"

"I believe she is in the medicine room."

A little batty alicorn at the age of five walked the dark halls of her families cottage which rested in the middle of nowhere. It was always easy to find peace with these woods and there was no danger to be found. Black Blood Rose was the middle child of the Night Rose family. Her parents were gentle ponies and haven't caused any harm except maybe ex-prince Dead Night; he was believed to be far worse than any other villain that has made the attempt to take over Equestria. His wife was a kind gentle soul, a beautiful red unicorn that dedicated her time for her family and medicine making for the ill. Throughout their happy married life, they bestowed three children; Ruby, Black Blood Rose, and Death Wish. Do not ask why these chose such dark names for their children for I know not. All that is known for now is that little Rose's life will go from good to bad.

She has reached the door to the medicine room, where her mother creates her special herbs for healing.

"Mama, Are you in there?"

She will experience the pain of losing somepony close to her heart.

(Door creaks open) "Mama?"

She will suffer great amount of abuse even though she did nothing wrong.

(Rose looks inside to find her mother sprawled on the floor lifeless.)

"Mama, wake up..."

No...

"Mama?"

Child...

"Mama!"

Should ever...

"MAMA!"

"Daddy, mama isn't waking up!"
