Frozen in fear on that snowy December night, a meek middle school girl shivers.  The snow pelted the windows fiercely, leaving thin white trails of frost.

"I-it-t's s-s-o c-cold." Her teeth chattered, the sound of bone to bone echoed in the small classroom filled with about 20 students.  Each student had a blanket.  Except for her.

All eyes were on her as they felt pity, but did nothing.  None offered to share their blanket.  They all continued to chat amongst themselves, grieving at the fact it was the worst winter storm yet; and they had to stay over in the classroom.

"Hey, that girl, will she die?..."

"It's way too cold to be without a blanket now..."

"The heater is old and can only warm up the classroom so much..."

The girl's eyes watered, but even her tears went cold.

Her teacher couldn't do anything since all the blankets had been distributed and the girl had volunteered to give up her's.

The boy she gave up her warmth for pitied her as well.  He didn't know why he accepted her offer.  His life was meaningless compared to hers.  He was a mistake that could never be undone.  His future plans even went against his parents' wishes.

He spoke up to her, "You can share with me?"

She only nodded, scooting closer to him to get under the blanket.

"T-that's a lot better. Thank you." She was so overjoyed that she hugged him while cuddling into his side.

She looked up to the boy's blank expression with big eyes, "Will you always share your blanket with me, Yoongi?"

"Yeah, and you're welcome..." The boy felt something spike in him.  What was the feeling? He couldn't tell himself; all he knew was he wanted her glossy eyes to look at him, and him only.
