This is a continuation from the zodiacs texting chapter, so if you haven't read that you should reed it first. Warning it hasn't got a very happy ending.

Libras POV:

I was had planned to spend the weekend studying, but my parents are drawing me out to have some weird weekend get away for the top workers at their company and their families. It not like I wanted to spend the week and studying, but I also didn't want to spend it with a fake smile as I listen to a bunch of middle-aged people talking about their latest "big client". I did hear that there is snow where we're going, so guess it might be kinda fun. I spend the rest of the car trip thinking about what to expect.

After a long three hour drive, we arrived at a group of small cabins. They were a light timber with dark red as beams running across the sides and making up the roof. I jumped out of the car and froze.

"It's freezing!" I scream to my parents as I cross my arms and start to shiver. I got my big jacket out of the car and put it on. after starting to warm up I finally stretch my arms out as if to extinguish any signs of sleepiness the long car ride enforced. I let out a yawn as I look around and once again freeze. Not because it was cold, but because I saw a familiar face. I squint into the distance and see Cancer standing next to a group of important looking people as she shakes their hands.

"Cancer?" I say aloud in confusion.

"Oh, there's our boss. Come on Libra, will introduce you," my mum says as she urges me towards the man next to Cancer. She starts to introduce me but then notices Cancer and I staring at each other.

"Oh, is this your daughter?" My mum asks the man a casually as she can.

"Yes, this is Cancer, if you want you can hang out this weekend," The man says putting this arm around her shoulder, talking to us as if we are children.

"Dad, we already are friends," Cancer blurts out and everyone looks at us in confusion.

In the end, we resolve the miss understanding. It turns out that my parents work for Cancers dad. Cancer and I get to hang out in the snow a bit before dinner. She seems unfazed but played around with me anyway. I don't get to see snow often so I'd be lying if I said I wasn't excited. We went outside and after her watching me walk around in the snow for a bit I sagest we build a snowman. She immediately agrees and we start to put it together. Our snowman is going well and we are almost done.

"We need more on the top," she says and attempts to put another handful of snow on it, however, she gets ver excited and misses the top of the snowman completely and it falls smack bang on the top of my head. I feel it melt down into my hair as I look up towards her slowly. I look up to see her covering her mouth in shock and as our eyes meet she immediately apologizes.

"I'm so sorry," she says as I stand up. I look down out our snowman and grab a large handful out of its head.

"Oh no," she says seeming to understand what I'm about to do. I smile before throwing it at her. It doesn't take her long to throw one back at before I know it we are running around our snowman throwing snowballs at each other. As she's running towards me I slip over backwards and onto the ground. Before she can stop herself she falls straight onto of me. We both laugh and she pushes herself off the ground, her arms either side of me. I stop laughing and look at her in profile. She notices me staring and does the same. I don't know how it happened, but my eyes are closed and I can feel the pressure of her lips ageists mine.

Cancer's POV:

It's the morning after our first day at the cabins. I'm walking around the kitchen looking for breakfast with a broad smile on my face when my parent's close adviser walks in. He comes around a lot so he is more like a brother to me.

"Someone looks happy," he says as I take a spoonful of my cereal.

"Maybe," I say in return and he laughs before he slowly forms a sad smile with his lips. I look at him waiting to know what's wrong.
"I saw you," he says and I know exactly what he means, but I don't now why he is so sad about it.

"Don't get me wrong, I'm happy for you," he says. I swear sometimes it feels like he can read my mind.

"Your father won't be, he might even fire her parents," He says and I suddenly become aware of the truth that I haven't before even comprehended.

"I just thought I'd tell you," he says before walking away in respond to my father's call. I stand still in the kitchen, dumbfounded...

That's all for this chapter. Sorry, it is so short. I have been busy moving house lately so I'm I haven't been writing much. I will try to upload more. Until next chapter, cya.
