How we met

Emily's P.O.V
Dad was calling me like he did almost every day after work. "Hey sweetheart"
"Hey dad what's up?" "I was just wondering what time you'll be home?" "Oh I think I'm gunna go swing by the hotel my friend Gabbie is staying at, I think we were gunna swim for a while, i'll be home in a couple hours, around 9." I was hoping he'd hang up already "Alright Sweetie, have fun be safe!" He finally hung up.

After I changed I drove down to the Marriot where my friend Gabbie was staying, her and her family were staying there over christmas break. By now it was probably 6:30.I walked over to the pool because that's where she said she'd meet me but she wasn't there. Just as I was about to text her I took another glance around. I saw by far the most handsome man I've ever laied eyes on. He was tall and muscular, his hair looked so soft and he was just a little paler than me, but I wasn't that tan considering I was white girl living in Hawaii. He also had the Jawline of a God, sharp enough to cut ice. He caught me staring at me and flashed me a smile, I smiled back and had the sudden urge to go talk to him, but some girl ran up to him i'm assuming it was his girlfriend.

I spun around and texted my friend.
Me:I'm at the pool where are you??
Gabbie: Change of plans come up to the room.
Me:Mkay what's the room number?
Gabbie: 79
Me:K see you soon
I took off walking kind of fast towards the elevator, all I could think about was that really cute boy.

I got to the elevator and pushed the button, as I did I heard foot steps jogging behind me. I glanced over my shoulder and it was the boy. He stopped right next to me at the elevator. "Hey I'm Grayson" He said, his voice was so soft and his big brown eyes were beautiful. "Hey I'm Emily."

Grayson's P.O.V
What am I doing? This girl is gorgeous what am I thinking talking to her? What should I say? "Hey I'm Grayson" Wow good job Grayson that was stupid "Hey I'm Emily" Her voice is so sweet and it matches her blue eyes and blonde hair. "I saw you looking at me over at the pool." Why did I just say that? I probably scared her away. She smiled, her smile is so beautiful I could definitely wake up to that everyday. "Oh yeah I'm sorry I was just...it's just...you're really cute." Aw dam that's adorable she seems really nervous. I couldn't help but smile back.This is your chance Grayson just do it. "Hey do you think I could get your number? You seem pretty cool and I'm just here on vacation and..." She could tell I was nervous. "Oh yea sure can I see your phone?" I passed her my phone and she put her name in. Dam I just got this girls number.

Emily's P.O.V
Did I seriously just give this guy my number? I'm freaking out, he probably won't even text me though. The elevator was here, the doors opened and a few people scurried out. I stepped inside and turned around to look at Grayson. "I'll see you later then?" I didn't know what else to say to him. "Yeah" He said "I'll text you." I smiled at him, his hair was still wet and he had water droplets all over his chest. I can't believe that just happened. The elevator doors closed and I leaned up against the wall trying to wrap my mind around what in the world had just happened.
