***Lila's point of view***

I normally sleep well, it's just tonight where I found myself startled awake. So I decided to look for Cupid, just for entertaining the sleepless self that I currently am.

I shuffled out of bed, that drunk feeling when you first woke up is starting to catch up with me. My bare feet touched the cold ground, before it was replaced by the comfortable soles of my flat slippers.

'Where did he go?' I thought to myself when I entered the living room. The couch which normally held Cupid when he slept was currently bare of the man himself.

I looked around the room and through the windows, caught a glimpse of the silhouette of a muscular person perched high up on the rooftop.

I poked my head out of the window, fearing it was a rogue matchmaking agent who wanted to slaughter everyone in the house. But I only saw Cupid sitting there casually, staring at the sky.

He looked so peaceful, a sight that my heart did not want to disturb. But curiosity filled my body, so I came with a course of action to satisfy both.

Without any words, I climbed up the ladder attached to the wall beside the window, my ninja skills which I've developed during the training was showing. I then sat daintily besides Cupid.

Cupid's arms suddenly snaked around me, causing me to squeak. It seems that my ninja skills had failed to keep me unnoticed. He whispered in my ear, "Look up at the sky."

I did as told and my jaw dropped once I saw the magnificent star-dotted night sky.

"It's beautiful," I breathed. These stars somehow reminded me of the simplistic and happy times before I was infused to all the mess between matchmaking agents.

"How can these stars shine so brightly and so beautifully?" Cupid asked, the awe in his voice was evident.

I only laughed lightly at his lack of knowledge, not even bothering to answer as I was completely captivated by the beauty of the starry sky.

"Hey, how many stars do you see? Let's play a star counting contest!" I could imagine Cupid wiggling his eyebrows suggestively.

I hit his chest lightly, while muttering a "Be quiet, Cupid!" His chest rumbled as he chuckled at my pathetic attempt.

I was moved from beside him, to actually sitting on his lap, his arms embracing me from behind. I could feel myself turning redder by the second, and I was hoping Cupid to not notice the tomato that I have became.

Cupid's tenor voice suddenly rang out from behind me. "Lately, I've been, I've been losing sleep. Dreaming about the things that we could be..."

His voice was surprisingly soothing and could be compared to Apollo's. I was thoroughly impressed as he hit every single note with precision.

As that song ended that night, I could be found to be asleep in the embrace of my match, under the light of twinkling stars.
