Crossing the Bar
By Alfred Lord Tennyson
Sunset and evening star,
And one clear call for me!
And may there be no moaning of the bar,
When I put out to sea.

But such a tide as moving seems asleep,
Too full for sound and foam,
When that which drew from out the boundless deep
Turns again home.

Twilight and evening bell,
And after that the dark!
And may there be no sadness farewell
When I embark

For tho' from out our bourne of Time and Place
The flood may bear me far,
I hope to see my Pilot face to face
When I have crossed the bar.

When I grow up I'm going to get a tattoo. The little girl writes on her wrist in her seven year old hand writing.
It should be something where if we ever meet we would no each other. Appears on her wrist as a little boy writes back on his own wrist tan.
It should be a f-l-o-w-e-r. The little girl spells out on her wrist.
No it should be a monstir truck. The little boy writes back.
It's spelt monster and no it shouldn't. The little no it all girl replies.
Monstir truck. The little boy argues back with a smile.
Flower.
Monstir.
Flower.
Monstir.
Flower.
A Monster truck on a flower with flower stickers. The little boy decides. The flowers have to be on fire though. The little boy concludes.
Uh-oh here comes my mom, I think she's mad at me, Flynn Carl. She's going to hit me again. The little girls letters are smeared slightly by her tears.
I'll save you someday, I swear Seneca Lily (Lie-lee) I will. Just you wait. The little boy vows using Senecas middle name instead of her last as they had vowed to call each other, so that if their last names changed, they would always have their middle names.
He can feel when the belt comes down upon the little girls back as if it were happening to him. He grits his teeth as his classmates at his rich boy school chatter away as always.
