Jessica has the biggest decision a 14 year old girl has to make, and it wasn't what to wear for graduation or how she should do her makeup...she had to decide if she was able to handle a long distance relationship.

Jessica has been dating Josh for 1 and a half years now, they were friends then best friends before but, they became more then that, a lot more then that. Everytime Josh sees Jessica his heart beats faster, he loses his breath, he stutters when he talks and, cannot think straight. He becomes a love sick teenager.

When Jessica see Josh's crystal clear blue eyes, she wishes she can just stare at them all day long. His straight soft black hair makes her want to pet his hair like a cat. His skin, gold. glowing in the sunlight. Every time angel looked at Josh she couldn't help but stare.

It was Sunday afternoon, the last day in Chicago. The sun was shining through the kitchen window, as Jessica was getting her glass of lemonade that her mom made. Jessica hears a knock at the door. She walks to the front of her house, holding her lemonade in one hand, she opens the door to see a black haired boy.

"Josh? What are you doing here?" Jessica asks

"Did I get my dates wrong again?" He says as he opens his phone, "this...is your last day here...right"

"Oh..yeah that's today" Jessica says as sadness fills her thoughts

"Who's at the door hun?" Jessica's mom yells
from upstairs

"Hi Mrs. Robins" Josh says back.

"Josh hunny is that you?" Jessica's mom said as she walks down the stairs.

Jessica's mom gets to the bottom of the stairs and to the door. She sees the male standing at the doorway and invites him in. Josh enters the house and heads to the couch to sit down, Jessica plops down next to him and rests her head on his shoulder.

"Josh would you like something to drink? Water? soda? lemonade?" Jessica's mom asked, her voice, very persuasive made josh agree to the lemonade.

"So josh, I'm guessing you didn't come here to see me. What do you want?" Jessica said as she looked up from his shoulder.

His eyes met hers and imagery sparks flew. Jessica couldn't help but smile, and Josh gave his warming smile.

"Why wouldn't I come here to see my love?" He says as he give Jessica a quick peck on the lips.

At the moment Jessica's mom walks in with a glass of lemonade she gives him he lemonade. Afterwards she looks over at Jessica and taps her watch twice.

Jessica grabs Josh's hand and heads up the stairs to her room. She opens the door and there is clothes everywhere and 3-4 suitcases.

"I'm guessing you're not done packing," Josh exclaimed.

"No not at all," Jessica said as she gave a quick giggle, "do you mind uh helping please?"

"Of course" he says as he sits on a open place on the ground.

They sit there for hours putting clothes in the suitcase playing around and everything. While they were putting thing in the suitcase Jessica's mom called the Jessica. When josh was alone he grabbed the shoebox he had in his bag, opens it to make sure it's the right one. He slips the box into one of the closed suitcases she had, covered it with clothes and closed the suitcase in time before Jessica got back. When she got back the they continued what they were doing. Hours went by and it started to get dark, there was 1 hour left before she had to go to he airport. Jessica and Josh were laying on her bed, Jessica head resting on his chest and an arm wrapped around abdomen. Josh's arm around her neck, snuggling closer.

"I wish you weren't leaving," he said.

"Me too josh, but I have to sadly," she said with sadness in voice.

"I'm going to miss you."

"I will too, I won't forget you alright?"

"I won't forget you too," Josh said as he hugged Jessica tighter.

Jessica looked up to meet Josh's eyes for what felt like the hundredth time today, eyes locked together they both went in for a kiss, Jessica placing her hand on his cheek. Josh placing his arm around her waist, moving her to lay on the bed, only his hands keeping him from falling on top of her. He breaks away only to go back for another passionate kiss, lips pressing against each other, melting as each one breaking away and going back for more. Minutes fly, they don't break away for more then a second. Both giving their goodbye kiss, expect they don't want it to be. Jessica's hand moves to his neck and pulling him down to deepen the kiss. Josh pushing Jessica's head forward to equal it. Knocks at the door makes them give their final kiss and break away. Jessica goes to answer to door to see her mom waiting there with a suitcase.

"Hunny we have to go," Mrs. robins says, she looks at Josh "I'm sorry Josh but we have to head to the airport, you may come if you would like."

"No it's ok Mrs.Robins, plus I believe my mom will be expecting me at home soon. Thank you though." Josh says as he gets up from the bed.

He walks over to Jessica and gives her a kiss on the cheek.

"Don't forget to check your suitcase" Josh says as he gives her an innocent smile and leaves the room.

"Wait what did you put in there?" She yells back but josh as already left the house.

She walks over to the suitcase, opening it and checking everywhere for something. When in one suitcase she sees a shoebox. She takes the shoebox out and opens it to see letters, a bunch of letters. She grabs one and it says, Open this when you feel sad. She then receives a text saying,

<hey...I'm pretty sure you saw the shoebox I want you to open them when they saw it is, and please don't cry okay? I love you Jessica>

Jessica looked at this and tears started to fill her eyes, her vision got blurry. Tears fell from her eyes, flowing down her phone screen. She gets up and wipes the tears from her eyes. She puts the box back into the suitcase, closes it and grabs everything and heads the car. Her mom goes in after. They both head to the airport. Jessica can't stop thinking about the box, when she is going to open, what it's going to look like, more of what it's going to say. Was she ready for a long distance relationship? No, she wasn't. Did she wish she didn't have to do it? No, she didn't. But she didn't want to lose Josh, so if a long distance relationship makes her keep Josh, then she will do it.
