I would start this story as any old horror story, "it was a dark and stormy night", but that wouldn't be interesting to read now would it? No, it wouldn't. So, shall we start from the basics? My name is Matthew O'Brien. Matt for short. I live in Greensboro, North Carolina. I am in the 9th grade. I live with my dad and rarely ever see my mom. I have no siblings, but I have a pet dog name Phoebe. That's basically my life. Nothing exciting.
When you first glance at me I bet you ten dollars that you think that I'm emo, or I'm goth, or even try to get to to smile somehow. But guess what? I'm not any of those things. I'm just a regular kid that likes the color black and isn't that enthusiastic about a lot of things. There is nothing wrong with that. Now, I bet you guys want to know what this story is about.
