I woke up to the sound of pitter patter against the window. I was surprised to find out I didn't have a nightmare the previous night. I usually had nightmares, but last nights sleep was pretty peaceful. I yawned and rubbed my eyes. I tried to sit up, but felt an arm around my waist.
I quickly looked over and saw a sleeping Jin, wrapping his arm around me. I blushed and widened my eyes. I didn't know if I was supposed to take his arm off, or let it be. I didn't want to wake him up.
Good thing I didn't have to, cause his eyes slowly opened soon after I tried to sit up. He cleared his throat and rubbed his eyes. He saw his arm on me and immediately removed it. He blushed and stuttered.
"U-um... sorry about that, Zoe..." he looked down and awkwardly scratched the back of his neck. I giggled, then pat him on the shoulder softly.
"It's fine, Jin. So, I suppose I should get going now. I don't want to burden you." I got out of bed and tried to take a step towards the door. I felt a big hand wrap around my wrist and pull me back into bed. I looked up and saw Jin hovering over me. He stared deep into my eyes.
"Didn't I already tell you? You're not burdening anyone. I'm glad to have you here. You have no where else to go except that coffee shop, am I right?" I slowly nodded. "Then why would you leave?"
He chuckled and shook his head. He let go of my wrist and got out of bed. I just sat there, staring at the ceiling. He stretched and walked out the bedroom door.
I slowly sat up and looked around. I was surprisingly still in awe due to his house. It was amazing and still blew my mind. I sat there for a few minutes. I finally decided to stand up and walk downstairs, following Jin.
The second I stood up, I felt a sharp pain in my ribs. I clutched onto the area around my ribs and fell to the floor. I made a thud sound. I didn't want Jin to worry, so I struggled to bring myself back up. I finally stood up once again, expecting another jolt of pain, but nothing happened.
I felt that it was safe to walk now, so I made my way down the spiral stairs to see where Jin went. As I walked down the stairs, I continued to admire Jin's apartment. My mouth was gaped open as I looked around.
I smelt a delicious smell coming from the kitchen. I used my nose, and followed the smell. It led me to the kitchen. I walked in and saw Jin, surprisingly, cooking. I walked over to him.
"Hey, Jin?" He almost dropped his pan once I called out to him. He stuttered and turned around awkwardly, "oh, h-hey, Zoe!"
"Um... what're you doing?" I asked him, slightly tilting my head. He grinned and turned around, continuing his cooking process.
"I'm cooking you some breakfast." He scrambled the eggs he was cooking a bit. My eyes widened in shock.
"My ex never cooked for me. It was always the other way around.' I had flashbacks of me cooking for him. I shook them off.
"Oh, really? Thank you Jin!" I walked up to him and hugged him. I saw his cheeks flush, I blushed as well. I removed from the hug and twirled my hair awkwardly. I took a seat at the table.
"Is there... any way I can help you?" I offered. He shook his head and laughed.
"You're really sweet, you know that?" He said as he continued to cook for me. "It's okay, I want to make you these myself. I just want you to relax right now."
I nodded and stared ahead. I then turned my head to admire Jin as he cooked my eggs. I smiled. His posture was perfect, his broad shoulders were so attractive, his face was the most handsome face I've ever seen, and most importantly, his personality was golden.
I was snapped out of my daydream when I saw him turn around and walk towards me, a plate in his hands. He placed the plate in front of me.
"Here you go, Zoe." He said as he smiled at me. "I hope you like them." He sat down in the chair in front of me. I grabbed a fork and scooped up some eggs. I then noticed he wasn't eating.
"Hey, aren't you gonna eat something?" I asked shyly. He shook his head.
"No, I'm fine. I ate an apple already. I'm pretty full. You just focus on your food, okay Jagiya?" I immediately blushed. I nodded and looked down at my plate. My vision blurred due to my blushing. I took another scoopful and ate some more eggs.

After I finished all my eggs, I felt super full. I wasn't used to eating very big meals, so this wasn't the norm for me. I offered to wash the dishes, since they were in fact mine, but Jin refused to let me do them. He stole the plate and fork from me before I could even stand up.
I watched him wash the dishes. Once again, I admired him. Everything about him. I shook my head.
'No, no I can't like him. I barely know him. What's wrong with me? Am I just like this because I broke up with my ex?' I put my head in my hands. I decided to go to the bathroom and wash my face.
"Hey Jin," I called out to him as he washed the dishes. He peeked his head up. "Can you please tell me where the bathroom is?" He nodded.
"Oh, yeah, it's at the end of that hallway," he said pointing, a soapy sponge in his hand. I nodded and thanked him. I got up and walked away from the table and towards the end of the hall.
The second I started to walk, I felt a sharp, harsh pain in my ribs. I fell to the floor uncontrollably. I saw Jin drop a plate on the floor, causing it to break. He ran over to me and grabbed me.
"Zoe!" He yelled. "Are you okay?! Oh my god, what happened?!" He held me. I took ahold of my ribs and whimpered.
I truly didn't know what was wrong with me. My ribs have been hurting ever since that incident with my ex. I prayed I didn't have any damage done to my body. Even if I did though, I definitely wouldn't tell Jon. He'd get too worried.
"Jin, I'm... I'll be okay." I shrugged Jin off, but he refused to leave me. He shook his head.
"No, no I have to take you to a hospital! Something could be wrong with you!" He picked me up bridal style and carried me to his living room. He gently placed me on his couch and let go of me. He took his phone out and began dialing a number.
"Jin, no," I said, slapping the phone out of his hand. I felt bad as soon as I committed the action. "I-I'm so sorry, Jin!"
He looked back at me, pity in his eyes. He took my hand and stared deep into my eyes.
"Zoe," he said in a low, deep voice, almost a whisper, "I don't want you to get hurt. If you have any problems, or have something you want to er off your chest, please, get me. I can help you, I want to help you. I... I care about you, Zoe. I know we haven't known each other for a long time, but, you're better than anyone I've ever met."
I stared at him, shocked. This sudden confession, it was a lot for me. I didn't know how to feel about this. He leaned closer to my face. We were only inches apart. All of a sudden, I heard a bark.
Jin quickly spun around, he was ace to face with a white dog. He smiled, and picked the small dog up. He put him on my lap.

     "This is my dog, Jjangu

"This is my dog, Jjangu." The puppy came over and smelt me. I didn't dare move a muscle. I loved dogs, but you have to let them get used to you first.
He smelt me a bit more. He then barked and licked my face all over. He showered me with puppy kisses. I giggled as I was being attacked with this puppy's love. Jin pouted as he glared at us.
"Aw, Jin are you jealous?" I giggled, and he laughed with me.
"No, because I know my time will come too..." he mumbled. I could barely hear him. I asked him to please repeat himself. "Huh? Oh, it's nothing." He said as he flashed me a smile.
I shrugged my shoulders and continued petting the puppy. Jin thought of something, then asked me a question.
"Hey, I just had a thought," he suggested, "you wanna go to the dog park with me? I walk Jjangu at least five times a week. You two seem to be getting along so well, you should join us. Oh... unless you don't feel well! Actually, never mind, it was a stupid idea to begin with."
He looked at the ground in disappointment. I felt so bad. I reassured him.
"Hey, Jin, its fine. I can totally go to the park with you and Jjangu! I think it'll be fun!" I cheered excitingly. He smiled.
"Okay, lets go!" The second Jin stood up and started walking towards the door, Jjangu soon jumped off of my lap and followed him. Jin grabbed the dog leash, and Jjangu got excited. He was about to run over next to Jin, but he looked back and saw me still sitting on the couch.
Jjangu stood there, waiting for me. I smiled and stood up. I walked over to Jjangu. He ran over to Jin with me. Jin attached the leash to Jjangu's collar, then opened the door for me. I thanked him and walked through, Jjangu by my side. We walked down the hallway and towards the elevators. We pressed the down button and made our way out of the apartment.
We walked to the dog park together. All three of us. I felt so happy when I was with Jin. I smiled as I felt the sun hit my skin. I turned towards Jin and caught him looking at me. He quickly turned away when I caught him.
'What are my feelings for you, Kim Seokjin?'
