I was wait patiently for the bell to ring. But its like the clock hands were moving in slow motion. I was highly upset. I was not about to let my ex boyfriend, pick on my future husband I thought. Then I realized what I just said and shook that thought out of my head. Yeah there was really something wrong with me if I thinking about this already. Finally the bell rang and I jumped out the desk and started walking toured the door, leavening my book bag sitting on the floor. I heard Vic calling me, but I ignored him and walked out the class and down the hall. I walked past Matt, who i was suppose to be giving a ride home after school. "Hey amb.." he began to say, but I walked right past him without stopping. He ran up to me and grabbed my arm pulling me to look at him. "Let me go Matt, I have a few words to say to someone and i have to get to him before he leaves" I said thru clinched teeth pulling my arm out of his grip.
Just then Vic was there telling Matt what was happening as I walked out the doors toured the school parking lot. I scanned the lot and found the car I was looking for. I went and sat on the hood waiting for Scott. Matt and Vic were at my side in the matter of minutes. "Don't do this" Vic said trying to talk me out of it. "Dude, when she's mad there's no stopping her" Matt had said to Vic. I looked at matt and he gave me a smirk and wiggled his eyebrows pointing at Vic, who was still talking to me. I shot him at look and he stopped. I really wasn't in the mood. Just then the door to the school opened and out came Scott and a couple of his friends. They must of not noticed me, because they started talking to Vic. "Look its that Mexican again" one of the boys said. "What are you doing by my car new boy" Scott said. That's when I cleared my throat and all there eyes landed on me. "Oh amber Baby" Scott said coming up to me trying to kiss me. I instantly slapped him across the face. He looked at me shocked, but you can tell he got anger. "What the fuck was that for? You bitch!" He said thru clenched teeth.
I gasped "I'm a bitch? Look here you low life, next time you pick on Vic I will make your life a living hell!" I shouted back at him. He looked at me and, then his friends. They all started howling in laughter. "What are you going to do, get your daddy on me? Oh wait that's right he's dead." He looked me in the eyes as he said that. he smirked at me and chuckled. I can't believe he just said that to me. I felt my eye start to tear up, but only because I was heated now. "At least I had a dad, and he didn't walk out on my family" this time I said shouting and everyone in the parking lot heard me. Scotts eyes widen, oh yeah I went there I thought as I started crying with anger. "You know what, you filthy whore. I was only with you because everyone said you were easy. Your just a pathetic bitch and I never loved you NEVER! I just said those things to get in your pants. Nobody wants your sorry ass" he said and all of sudden I see a fist fly past me and Scott laying on the floor holding his left eye. I turned around to see Vic in pain holding his hand. Scott got up and got in his car. "Watch your back Mexican" Scott said thru clenched teeth as he drove off. I rushed over to Vic and took his hand. He flinched a little."you need to get this checked out" I said worried. I grabbed his other hand and dragged him to the nurses offices.
After making sure Vic was going to be alright. Me and Matt walked him to his car and said our goodbyes. I got in the my car as Matt got in the passenger side. We drove in silence at first. The I noticed Matt staring at me from the corner of my eye. "What you looking at?" I said pushing his face playfully. "You really do like him, don't ya?" Matt asked, and he wasn't smiling, so I knew he was serious. I let out a sigh and told him exactly how I felt. "I really do, He's just different from the people I was with in the past. I feel like I knew him all my life. Your not gonna believe me when I say this, but I've met him before he even walked thru the doors of our class room." I looked at matt and he gave me a look to keep going. "See I've been having this dream for the last couple of months and he was in it, every time I closed my eyes, there he was my dream boy. And when he first sat down next to me, I was just shocked to shocked I fainted" I finish saying. I look over at Matt who was quiet for a second. Then out of no where, he bursted out laughing "your....dream....boy?" He try talking but was laughing to hard.
I shot him a look and couldn't help laughing back, because Matt laugh always made me laugh. Then it got quiet. "I'm serious Matt" I said in a whisper. "I really do think he might be the boy for me" I finish saying as i pulled into Matt's driveway. He looked at me "then give him and chance Bambi" he said grabbing his book bag from the back seat and gave me a hug before he got out and shut the door. I waited for him to go inside. He turned around a wave goodbye as he went into the house and shut the door. Oh boy was there a lot I had to think about. I couldn't help but smile when Vic popped up in my head. He gave me his number while we were in the nurses office getting ice for his knuckle. I decided I would call him when I got home. I backed out Matt's drive way and started headed down the street to pick up my siblings from school.
