Today I woke up and the sun was a flaming yellow
and the sky was a cool shining blue.
The grass was beautifully green
and birds sang songs that was rhythmic and on cue.
The wind blew a sweet soulful breeze that
calmed the soul and excited the skin as it chilled through.
Many people live for perfect days like this
and all the other glories of the world.
But find themselves missing something, looking for something.
So they ask the question,
“What do I live for?”
That one simple question
That can change the very way you live
I know because it happened to me
I found my reason
My purpose, In you
My angel in the sky.
And I learned that day is that
What I live for holds far greater value
then what the world could ever have to offer,
and that is my admiration, love for you.
You see, since you came into my life, every second,
every minute, every hour and every day
has been nothing but a life in paradise. For everyday with you
my life is always picture perfect.
Regardless of how great or how horrible the weather is,
or how troubling the pressures of the world may be.
My forecast will always be a day full of sunshine as it has come to be.
Solely because you are my reason to look forward to the next day,
you my love are the reason why the
rise of the sun is anticipated and welcomed.
Seeing that sun rise from below the horizon is a clear
indication that I once
again have been blessed, with another day with you in my world.
I found myself, lost in the thought of you
Your smile, your laugh, and those amazing eyes
That can stop any man in his tracks.
