"And don't forget students, Monday is parents' day, so your parents will come to school with you, tomorrow. And have a good weekend. Study!" my I-couldn't-care-any-less-40-year-old Mr. Orlando said. I absolutely hated him. It's not that I don't like him because he gives me bad grades! No! He gives me amazing grades! I'm a good student! I just, don't think he really likes me, he always picks on me in class, trying to catch me when I'm not paying attention to the lesson. Sure, I'm always drawing in my sketch book, but I have ears.

I started walking down the school hallway, as usual he was waiting for me at my locker. It wasn't like he was my friend or anything, though. Ah, Little Junior, he hated my guts. I don't really know why, though. I mean, it's not like I ever did anything to him. All he does is throw a few mean words to me, though, which I guess is pretty good. Today however was a different story.

"Watch out! It's little bitch boy!" Little Junior said, as he did a new thing Today. That 'new thing' Today, was a punch straight to my stomach. And I was pretty light apparently, so I fell backward. I swear this kid has absolutely nothing to do. Otherwise I did something to him sometime in my life? I don't know I mean, I don't recall ever doing something to Little Junior. Okay, Junior was his actual name, but everyone calls him Little Junior, because he's so damn tall. But I don't really get why 'Little' shouldn't it be Tall Junior? Whatever.

"What? You scared little boy?" Little Junior said, then kicking me even though I was already on the ground, he then stepped on my chest with his huge feet, of course he had shoes on though, and he rubbed his shoe on my chest. And let me tell you this hurt.

"Stop...What did I ever do to you anyways?" I asked, clearly in way too much pain here, my voice was all messed up from the pain.

"Oh please, Ezekiel you're a weakling, why else would I be picking on you? Now if you were tough, I might just back off of you!" Junior said.

I quickly pushed him off of me and grabbed my backpack and ran, thank God I already had my phone and headphones. Once I knew I was far enough away from Little Junior, I had stopped running. I continued walking home, as I turned on my playlist and put it on shuffle, my favorite song came on. 'You are what I believe.' The song played as it got to the chorus, through out my head.

What is this? I suddenly feel really dizzy. Why is my vision going so dark? Oh no...I'm gonna faint...

As my vision went fully black, all I can remember was a sharp pain and hitting my head, I felt blood run down my head, and heard the words 'You have been chosen' right before I woke up in a bed. I opened my eyes, adjusting to the light and looked around slowly. I was in an infirmary!

"Oh thank goodness! You are awake!" I heard a female's voice, and looked to my left, only to see a tall girl, she wore what looked like a business suit, but not a regular one, this one was a midnight blue, and had a magenta pink tie on it. She also had on dark purple knee high socks. She had a smile on her face, she had pink hair pulled down into a messy low bun, with some of her pink hair sticking out towards the bottom, her eyes were blue and friendly. She was holding a clipboard and a pen. The suit also looked a bit like a nurse's uniform, so I'm guessing she was a really colorful nurse.

"What happened?" I asked her.

"Well, um...Name please before I answer sir?" she asked.

"Ezekiel Night."

"Ezekiel Night! Oh! We've been expecting you! Well, you see, you hit your head, and started bleeding, which is why there are white bandages under your bangs, your head would not stop bleeding! Such a terrible, deep, bloody cut! You poor thing, well! It's a pleasure to have you here, Ezekiel Night, welcome to Rain of Hope Academy! It's called high school but it is more of an academy. I shall hand you over to another student to guide you to the boys' dorm, her name Elizabeth Smith, she just came here one month ago." the nurse said, as she handed me over to Elizabeth.
