"Shit, I forgot my keys!"
You exclaim as you bolt down the rocky road that leads back to Konoha Hospital. You think about the tv show that you've been wanting to watch for quite a while.
"I don't want to miss another episode of tv show because of work... again!" You pant, irritated. Bursting through the main doors, you run down the halls and bound up the stairs, oblivious of a wet floor sign up ahead. A guttural scream bellows from your lungs as you skid across the hallway, crashing into a cart full of air cylinders.
"Ow, fuck—"
" Fuck!" You shriek as they violently crash onto your head.
As you grip your throbbing head, you look around. You're in the middle of a hallway cross, the door to your small office on the right. After kicking aside the hospital cart, you trudge into the room.
"Why the hell aren't there any wet floor signs around here?" You moan as you sink into your color office chair, the pounding in your head surging. The old leather complains as you lean back, your eyebrows scrunching together in frustration.
"Calm down, name. This is normal. You can handle it. Just another day aboard the name train." Your breath catches as a sharp pain stabs through your right temple. "Shit," you whisper, "I need to do something..." As knives twist through your brain and stars flood your eyes, you attempt to grasp the painkiller shot from one of the medicine cabinets above your desk. Your weak fingers slip, and so does your grip on reality. The pain is unbearable.
Now acquainted with the cold floor, you curl into a ball like a broken child. As you wrap your arms around your trembling body, hot tears begin to carve a path down your face.
"Why am I not like the others?" You choke out. "What did I do to hurt more than everyone else!?" Blood begins to trickle in a thin stream from your nose. You focus your blurry eyes on the smear of crimson. Pointing your stained fingers at the ceiling, you yell: "Do I deserve this, God!?"
After what could only be an eternity on the floor, you gather enough chakra to heal yourself. However, due to your depleted chakra deposit the pain only subsides a bit; leaving you trembling on your feet as you claw for the medicine cabinet's handle. You manage to grab on, using it as support.
"Wow, name, you can't even heal yourself. What a medical shinobi you are." You mutter to yourself as you unclothe the syringe. You deftly push the needle into the crevice of your arm, bruises from previous injections littering the area. The pale liquid courses through your vein, its effect immediate. Sighing in relief, you wipe the blood from your nose with your sleeve and suddenly remember the keys which you came in for.
"Looks like I'm becoming senile..." you chuckle darkly. As you grab the metallic bells off of your desk, your hand brushes a medical book labeled Curses, Chakra Blocking & More. After some struggle you lift it up, and its thick allergic skin washes over you.
"Let's have another go, eh? Anything to lift this fucking curse." Once you blow the dust away, you tuck the heavy book under your arm and hurry out the office, your head still spinning from the canisters and something more sinister.
Kakashi's POV
"Mmm... Oh yes! I knew Haruna would finally succumb!" I'm re- reading Make Out Paradise while on a 'mission' for Lady Tsunade. She says it's a mission, but in reality it's just glorified chores. She always nags and nags, there's no end to it. Last time Tsunade sent me to get some vegetables I got carrots 'cause they seemed similar, and she punched me across her office! Now, every evening she sends me to complete an absurd task like fetching her vegetables or food. Even if I get it right, she punches me and makes me go again the next day! At this point, I'm just her lap dog. Not that that's such a terrible thought. I grin as I rub the swollen bruise above my cheekbone. "Crazy bitch..." Thankfully, everything comes with a silver lining. When she punches me, I see her jugs bounce.
"Perv," someone mutters under their breath.
"Huh?" I look up. There's only name hurrying down the street. She looks dazed as her nose is buried in some sort of thick book. Though, there's no way she could have known what I was thinking.
"Maybe I misheard?" Just to check, I peer behind my shoulder again. Nothing except for the sound of my footsteps disturbing the gravel. There's no one else here.
I avert my gaze as I try to piece together what just happened. I guess those rumors must be true... they're why everyone avoids her. Something about a curse. Even so, it's not fair to be in constant solitude; I've only seen her accompanied by a book. It's almost like my childhood... my father. The disconnection from my emotions and the entire world. The solitude was unbearable.
"I should go ask her if she's feeling alright." I mumble as I continue on into her direction, my eyes still glued to Haruna's tits.
Your POV
"At least when she punches me I see her jugs bounce." The words echo through your mind.
"Who said that?" You look around. The only other soul on the road is Kakashi. As you realize what just happened, you get taut as a bowstring.
"You fucking perv... it happened again! Why isn't there anything in this old book that'll put an end to this jutsu!?" You exclaim in frustration.
"I can't even use it at my own will!" You continue, "Every time it happens, I feel pain, and I also gain unwanted information!"
The truth was, you've had a crush on Kakashi ever since you were put on the same team for a mission about a year ago. Any thoughts of his you'd love to know, since he so rarely speaks to anyone from within your unit. Frustration floods your mind. "Why does my life have to be like this!?" You scream up at the sky, waving your book around. As you protest, a lovely rock greets your toe and you fall into the grounds' embrace, again! This time something warm and relatively soft cushions your fall, but the pain is too much to bear. Your heart hurts and your busted knee throbs against the pavement. Your chakra is almost depleted.
"Uuu...huuuhhhh..."
As your eyes set night to the day, you briefly hear a frantic voice.
"N... name? NAME!"
