Chapter 8 : More Than This

This chapter is all in Liam's point of view. It is all flashbacks when Lauren and Zayn were still together. Liam loved Lauren but was stuck in the friend zone (don't we all hate that?) and wrote a song about his heartbreak of Lauren not loving him.

Liam's POV

I'm broken do you hear me I'm blinded but you are everything I see 

Liam watched as Lauren and Zayn laughed about something in the kitchen at the party the boys had and it killed him He only wished that she wasn't in love with Zayn. He often cried himself to sleep at night because Lauren would never love him like she did Zayn he was stuck in the friend zone

I'm dancing alone I'm praying that your heart will just turn around

Liam watched from the sidelines of the Award Show dance, He wanted to dance with Lauren so bad but he couldn't because he knew that Zayn would kill him if he did so. He got up and got on the dance floor and danced next to Louis and Niall but he was hurting so bad. Lauren wouldn't figure out what was wrong since Zayn constantly held her back from Liam.

and as I walk up to your door my head turns to face the floor cause I can't look you in the eyes and say

Liam went up to Zayn's apartment knowing Lauren would be there. He looked inside the window that was open and through the window he saw Lauren and Zayn kissing each other on the couch. He turned around and ran home hoping that see wouldn't see the tears pouring down his cheeks

When he opens his arms and holds you close tonight it just won't feel right cause I can love you more than this

Liam walked in the car after Lauren and Zayn and watched as Zayn pulled Lauren into his lap to make room for the others. He watched them walk into his apartment giggling and then a light flick on in Zayn's room and then off knowing that the two had just fallen asleep. He knew that he could never hold her at night.

If I'm louder would you see me would you lay down in my arms and rescue me

Liam wanted to scream so bad during interviews, concerts, parties and more and just say "Lauren I love you so much you mean the world to me will you be my girlfriend" but he couldn't not when Zayn held her heart so tight. If only she knew how much it hurt him to know he would never be loved as much. If she had seen what he did to himself self harm she would never see how much it hurt.

Then I see you on the street in his arms and I get weak my body falls upon my knees praying

Liam walked behind them as they were holding hands and giggling together. She would look back occasionally to see if he was alright. He just faked a smile when ever she was around but she would never understand what she was doing to him
