Raegan's POV
Lamar and I exited the car, and as he locked the doors, we walked through the imposing black gates.
Inside Abel's mansion, a scene of opulence unfolded. The lavish interior was bustling with activity, and I couldn't help but feel a pang of unease as I spotted several celebrities mingling among the crowd.
The pungent smell of marijuana filled the air, and I instinctively covered my nose. I was determined to avoid any substances that might affect me the next day.
Lamar interrupted my thoughts as he speak up.
"Hey Rae, why don't you sit on this couch and wait for me? I'll be back soon."
His suggestion irritated me. He could have dropped me off at the hotel or simply let me stay in the car.

"Sure, whatever," I replied, rolling my eyes.
Exhausted and overwhelmed, I yearned to be anywhere but there.
"Rae, please don't be like that. It'll just be a moment," he pleaded, shaking his head before disappearing into the throng of people.
As more guests arrived, strangers began taking the seats beside me. One particular girl, standing nervously in the corner, caught my eye. She seemed as out of place as I felt.
Deciding to seek some company, I approached her, tapping her shoulder to get her attention. Distracted by her phone, the pretty woman looked up, and I was stunned to see it was Zendaya.

Zendaya (Daya)
I had to take a step back, my heart pounding. I couldn't believe I was standing face-to-face with THE Zendaya.
In person, she was even more stunning than on screen.
She flashed a relieved smile, as if grateful for someone sober to talk to. "Yeah, I'm not really a party person," she giggled nervously.
