It's odd, what Eveanna stated about Chelsi, makes me wonder if she really is a witch. I faintly remember her mentioning a "Lettie" that must've been the Charlotte girl I met earlier. I looked through the school files once I got here; the principal wished to talk to me and when his phone rang I snuck a quick glance was here. No Samantha Verda. Maybe Chelsi was her, Lisa knows there are people after her. Would I honestly think she'd be so stupid as to put her daughter's real name on school files? I was confused on how she even had a daughter in the first place, she couldn't really be hers - not genetically. There's no way, Lisa is older than I am. I mean I know strong witches can make themselves immortal - thus, Lisa still being alive, but I haven't sensed that type of power.

Then again there is the issue that when I looked around that room the only supernatural sense I got were vampires and shape shifters. I caught whiff of a wolf earlier but haven't gotten close enough to tell who it is. Anyone hybrid with a human will not be so easily detectable. Surely though the daughter of a Verda would be powerful. The sisters are nearly "all powerful".

As I set my black mesh backpack down, a hand grabs my shoulder. I spin and as I'm about to grab the arm to flip her over but then I realize it's just Mel, and that a normal person isn't normally that jumpy. I let my arm return to my side and stare at her. I need to learn to control my instincts while I'm present here. Melissa seems unfazed by my reaction, but annoyed none the less.

"So, this is our cover story, I'm Isabelle Hunter, you're Andrew Hunter, apparently Will goes by the name Jake Green. Jake invited us over to this town because we needed a new place to stay. We know him, no one else."

I'm about to snap at her and say that I already know all of this but then I see Eveanna walk in and she's scanning the room - for me? Apparently so, she starts towards me. I sigh. Half in relief, half annoyance. "Hey." I offer a small greeting.

"Hello, Andrew!" She notices Mel and turns to shake her hand, after setting her stack of books on the lunch table, "My name is Eveanna. It's a pleasure to meet you, what's your name?"

I look at Mel with a smirk when she shoots the 'save me' look. She sighs when Eveanna doesn't un-extend her hand to be shaken. "Isabelle Hunter." She shakes hands with Eve, then jumps back. I look at them in confusion. It takes me a minute to realize that it wasn't Mel that jumped back, it was Eveanna. Mel was walking away and Eveanna was watching her go.

She makes a half-hearted laugh, "You both have very strong grasps." She forces a weak smile and goes to sit down, realizes her backpack it still upon her back, stands up, takes it off, throws it on the ground and slams into her chair.

"Wow. Moodswings."

She laughs, it's like the sound of ringing bells, the sweet, cherishing kind, not the kind that makes you want to scream in annoyance. "Sorry." She looks at me, her eyes, hazel, part green, part golden brown. Pretty. I can't help but smile back at her big grin - it's contagious. "Long day." She finishes. I nod and sit down, I barely registered the fact I was leaning against the wall. I face her,

"I'm one to know the feeling." She still smiles - but it seems to drag a bit, like little weights on each side.

"Andrew?" She asks softly, watching me get situated.

"A - Yes?" I am uncertain of her intentions at the moment. Something tells me this shy cheery girl may be full of surprises.

She smiles, "You seem like the type to conduct dares."

I was pouting out the window, but now I stare at her with large eyes, "Are you?" So I was right?

Her smile comes crawling back, taking over my other senses. "First time for everything, no?"

I can't help but grin back at her, "Mhmm. So, am I helping you with something?" I try to make it sound sarcastic but I fail - I'm dying to do something decent. Something entertaining. This day has been begrudgingly long.

"I need help getting back at Chelsi. See, my crush - " I'm about to say I don't want details but then she mutters his name, "Evan Scott", I realize now who the wolf was, that man was speaking to her earlier when I caught presence of it. Explains his look of hate. "You guys meet earlier I think, anyways Chelsi did something to him and asked for my help."

"Did it ever occur to you how it might be strange this is the first time he asks for your help? Seems an awful lot to me like he's trying to use you because you're expendable." I remark, I lost my filter apparently; I look at her face, she looks shocked and defeated. For some reason that bothers me. I try to shift my tone; "I apologize I'm seemingly a little irritated today. Tell me what genius idea you have in mind and I will help you."

After offering up a weak curling of her lips, she continues, "I want to prank her. Getting her isolated shouldn't be very hard, there's a party she hosts every year. It has become a Halloween tradition; horror movies, alcohol, costumes, pumpkin smashing, ghost stories, annnd I hear they always end their night with a dare game after everyone is plastered. What are the chances you can get her to make an absolute fool of herself?"

I study her closely; she rubs me a very odd way because half of her seems so plain and small while the other half seems so vast and daring. Not even fulling daring just, yearnful. I have a feeling this girls curiosity gets her in alot of trouble. "Tell you what Eveanna, help me get through the last quarter of the year, I'll keep her," I nod towards Chelsi across the room, "Off your heels. Sound good?"

"Perfect!" She sets the water bottle she was drinking out of, back into it's rightful place in her backpack, "You can call me Eve if you'd prefer." She side steps out of the chair she was rooted in and extends her hand. I give her a light handshake, sealing our deal away.

She gleams at me. The way her lips curl back and her pearly right teeth show, I can't but help return the beautiful gesture.
