After the large incident of Juliet trying to kill herself I invited myself to stay with her and she didn't object to that. The boys kept bugging me that we had to go to the studio at 10 tomorrow morning but oh well. I'm staying no matter what. Even if she didn't want me to stay I'd still stay.

I didn't know what I was going to do when I had to leave. I had two options. I could stay here and spend the whole day with my ex-girlfriend and kids and get pounded by management later, or leave the people I haven't seen in three years to go record songs making them miserable again. So I'm pretty sure you know what I'm going to do.

"Go get in that bed." I demand, pointing to the stairs.

"No."

"Would you rather do it the easy way or the hard way?" I crouch down.

"Uh, what is easier than arguing with you?" Juliet smirks. I throw her over my shoulder. Alex and Tommy went to bed easier than this. "Ugh. You suck Louis."

"I know." I chuckle.

"I'm not going to sleep in my bed. You aren't sleeping on the couch." Juliet says as I walk upstairs. "I will take the couch."

"I'll be fine sleeping on the couch Jules." I tell her.

"If you are trying to get me to invite you to the bed with me it isn't working." Juliet replies.

"I'm not!" I exclaim. "I swear! I'm just trying to be nice."

"Do you want me to start fighting with you again?" Juliet asks.

"No." I squeak.

"Good." Juliet nods while I plop her onto her bed. "I don't like fighting with you."

"I don't like fighting with you either." I respond, pulling blankets over her. I sit next to Juliet's legs.

"What are we supposed to do though? I can barely be in the same room with you for more than five minutes before snapping. You are going to be in the studio and going on tours and receiving awards and making your career even more of a success if that is possible. But you promised you wouldn't leave again." Juliet explains. "I want a better life for my kids than parents that can't stand each other."

"Me too." I sigh. "I don't think there is much we can do."

"We should just let it go and raise them the best we can." Juliet shrugs.

"No, we can't just do nothing." I snap. "I still like you."

*Juliet's POV*

"Y-you what?" I slur.

"I still like you." Louis repeats.

"What about Eleanor?" I ask.

"If I tell you what's in my mind you will yell at me and the twins will wake up." Louis answers.

"Fine." I huff. "But my life is pretty awesome."

"What is so amazing?" Louis smiles.

"I get to stay home and plan the death of Dora the Explorer. Fill her backpack with bricks and throw her into the Candy Cane River." I mutter. Louis laughs. ( Modern Family quote :P )

I wake up, my tired eyes drifting over to my clock. Ten thirty?!?!?!?! My alarm didn't go off! I bolt out of bed snatching my dressing gown. I pull it on bounding downstairs. Louis had to go to the studio at ten and the twins wake up at nine and Melanie had a doctor appointment at ten thirty. Tears heat up my face. I almost tackle an all too familiar person.

"Whoa!" Louis shouts, gaining his balance again. "Calm down Jule. I'm still here."

"I thought you had to leave." I tilt my head slightly.

"I'm not going anywhere babe." Louis tries to calm me down, swiping his thumb under my eye. "I was up at eight and had the boys tell management I was sick with the flu so I can stay for a week."

"God, you're stupid." I mumble wrapping my arms around him. "Did you feed them?"

"Who?" Louis furrows his eyebrows together. I glare at him. "I'm joking! Yes they are fed. They are sitting on the couch watching re-runs of the Doodle Bops. Food and pills are waiting for you at the eating area in that room over there." Louis points. I laugh. I nudge him before grabbing my computer and walking over to the perfectly laid out meal. "What is your job anyway?"

"I am currently designing a fashion line, organizing anti-bullying programs, and writing a book. All things I can do at home." I wink.

"God, you're hot." Louis murmurs, mocking my earlier tone.

"Excuse me?" I raise an eyebrow.

"Nothing." Louis lies before scurrying into the living room with Alex and Tommy.

=============================================================================

"Mummy?" Tom asks looking up at me with bright eyes. We were watching Lady and The Tramp. Again. We watched it yesterday too.

"Daddy?" Alex does the same.

"Yes?" We turn to them.

"When will you have baby like Aunt Melanie?" Tommy asks as they both lay their heads against our sides. Louis and I's eyes immediately snap together. What had Melanie told them?! I knew she was like eight weeks pregnant, but did she tell them we were having a baby?!

"Sweeties, your mum isn't having a baby." Louis swoops in to save the day again as I was just shocked. I look down at my lap.

"Why not?" Alex whines.

"You'll know later." Louis reassures them.

"Ok." They huff, trying to figure out how to cross their arms. It takes a few seconds. I laugh. They resembled the old Louis so much.

"We do need to talk about telling them at some point." Louis whispers in my ear. I nod slightly, dreading the time where we did have to tell them we weren't the happy couple they thought.

=============================================================================

"Juliet." Louis says walking into my room. I turn around to face him. "I need to ask you something."

"Yeah?" I ask.

"I'm so sorry I left you and I don't want you to be hurt anymore." Louis starts to explain, walking over to me. My eyes drift down. "I know you can take care of yourself but I'm not going to just leave you like this. Will you please, please let us try again?"

"You're dating Eleanor and it's pretty obvious you are in love with her, not me." I snap.

"If you give me the chance Jules, she is nothing but a thought in the back of my head." Louis holds my hand giving me the tingles I haven't had since he left. My mind was sending warning signs but if I ever wanted my kids to have a normal life I would need to do this.

"Ok." I answer in a hushed voice.

Sorry it's kind of late. I didn't have time to put a chapter up on Wednesday and on Thursday I updated How It Started and I had a doctor's appointment. I will see you next week! Have a good day! Or night! Or whatever time it is for you!
