Adeline
The sun shined as the wind whipped softly. Riding on Garados's back she lounged bare footed as the wild Magikarp leaped occasionally out of the water. Their Magikarp entourage swam all around her Gyarados.
It seemed her pokemon was charismatic toward the Magikarp. They always swam toward him. Stretching her legs she dipped her feet in the cool ocean water.
The weather rappidly changed. Thunder cracked loudly making her jerk from her almost sleep. Clouds covered the sky, the ocean began to turn and churn violently. Garados fought the rough waves while the Magikarp struggled to stay close.
Water began to swirl, she could feel her pokemon fight it but when the Magikarp were flung in did her pokemon try valiently to save them. Head first he swung his head as he lunged his body into the swirling currents.
Rain pellted on them relentlessly. Hanging desperately onto her scaled pokemon she felt the water suck them in. Deep dark blue until eveything was pitch black.
Gyarados
This ocean felt different. Different from the tropical waters of the Alolan Region and different from the gentle waters of the Kalos Region. Surveying this new cooler territory he only saw open water.
That sudden storm was very strange. As far as he knew only a very powerful pokemon could pull something like that off. But why and who was it ?
Whoever it was, that would have to wait. For now he had to find an island since Adeline's PokeNav seemed unable to work. A island with very little rough water would work, he decided as he glanced at the tired Magikarp who listlessly stayed by his side.
"Follow me," He coaxed them as he nuzzled the tired pokemon. Slowly they made the journey where he did find a ideal island.
It had a channel that led them deeper into the island. The current around the ocean was gentle and perfect for them. Laying his head down on the shore he sighed with relief as Adeline clambered off his back so he could rest and sleep.
