"Jordan!"
Sarah came running towards me as soon as she saw me walking through the school hallways. She gave me a quick hug and then pulled back from the hug, still holding my arms.
"So, how was it?"
Her eyes were glistering, which meant she was definitely excited about the thing she wanted me to tell her.
And I had absolutely no idea what that thing could be.
So, while pulling my eyebrows into a confused frown, I asked "What are you talking about?"
"The kiss!"
With me still not getting it, Sarah rolled her eyes and let out a sigh.
"Your kiss with Brandon!" She said, her voice and face adding a duh!.
"What? How do you know about that?!" My eyes widened in surprise and my cheeks grew red.
"Clark.." I thought out loud, looking left at me. Clark must have told her. I nervously ran my hand through my hair as I walked past her, searching for any signs of Clark's existence.
Shit. Clark told Sarah. Wait. Who else would he have told?
"Jordan! Where are you going?" Sarah asked loudly while quickly following me for an answer.
I turned around, walking backwards so I didn't lose any of my time to find Clark. "Um.. I have to.. do something. I'll see you later."
"Oh yes, you will definitely see me later. And you will tell me everything." She stated with a motherly voice. She then turned around and walked away.
I turned around and rolled my eyes as I started looking for Clark again.
"Clark!" I yelled at him, making him look at me.
His face went pale from seeing me so angry. I could see him swallow hardly from a distance. He said something to the person he was talking to, probably something like "I have to go." or "I'll see you later." and walked off quickly.
"Clark, get your ass over here!"
He gave a short look back and started running. I, obviously, followed him.
After a 10 minute chase I finally caught Clark by his arm. I pushed him against the lockers in the hallway and grabbed the collar of his shirt.
"Clark! What the hell! You told Sarah about me and Brandon!"
"I-I.." he stuttered.
"How could you?"
"I-I just.."
"Just spit it out or let me speak!" He shut his mouth quickly, so I started talking again.
"Clark, here's what's going to happen. You're going to tell me why and what you told Sarah. But first, I need to know whether you have told anyone besides Sarah?"
"NO! I didn't tell anyone else! I swear! I only told Sarah!" Clark was sweating heavily and I could see fear in his eyes. I had him exactly where I wanted him.
"Continue."
"I-I told Sarah because I ran into her in the hallway, after your class. She told me that Brandon had been looking at you and that she told you about what happened to him and the fact that you were crying together. And because of that I thought I would take you out for some ice cream! You were standing outside the classroom with Brandon, so I invited him along. I could see that you liked him so I excused myself to the bathroom. And yeah, you guys kissed. I had to tell Sarah. She's one of my best friends, just like you are."
It turned silent for a moment. I let go of Clark and straightened his shirt.
"Are we okay?" He looked worried.
"Yeah, we are." I assured him giving him a smile.
He threw himself in my arms. I hugged him back.
