I was in her house. Her room. The wedding dress was hanging near the wardrobe pleasantly.
Wearing a new, black suit, wearing a new black, slim tie, I was sitting, looking down on the tiny little box in my hands. I can feel the rough satisfying material it was made up of as I rubbed my thumb on it.
I opened it and looked at the two beautiful wedding rings inside of it. The great moments we had up until now rushed back into my head like an old flash back; Her smile, her laughs. I heard it and I felt it all that moment. It was as if a cold breeze of wind passed straight through my heart. I shivered. I wondered if i should smile. Those were great memories. Still fresh and still beautiful.
I tried on one of the rings. Slid it slowly on my ring finger imagining she was the one doing it. I quickly took it off and then I looked back at her beautiful wedding dress that was hanging behind me along the wardrobe then stood up when I heard her foot steps approaching from ourside.
She stepped it and goosebumps crept up all over me. My heart was beating extremely fast I thought that even she, who was now standing across the room, could hear it.
I looked up at her. I saw her face. That bright glimmering face and I smiled a little. The little smile got a bit broader. She looked back at me and gave me a sort of an awkward smile. She was seeing me on the day of the wedding so of course she feels that way I thought.
And then her Fiancé walked in and closed the door behind him. He smiled at me really brightly. Acting as if nothing happened, I smiled back at him just as he did to me and shook his hand, gave him a shoulder-bump manly hug, congratulating him on his marriage and then handed over the box to him.
I looked at him, his face was bright. He looked so happy. Of course he was happy. He's the happiest man on earth now. Just like I was once.
He thanked me and went to her as I made my way out of her room. After walking out, I looked back at them. He was showing her the rings. She looked happy. She looked so happy. I closed the door slowly as her face disappeared along with it.
Then I leaned my back against the door quietly, I let out a deep breath to let out the cold shivering feeling i had in my chest and leaned my head against it too.
I can see the moments even now. The moment we met. Her smiles. Her hand on mine. Her lips on mine. It's still beautiful...!
