Hey, it's Aura again. I'll be narrating the next two chapters, then Morana will, then Xenia, then Tess.

I sat on my bed, my chin resting in my hands. A heavy sigh escaped my lips. I longed to go back to Hogwarts. That place was more like my home than here. Everyone I lived with either hated me or just didn't speak to me unless I was in trouble. Well...except for my mom. She talks to me sometimes when we're alone. Suddenly, there was a quiet knock on my door.

"Aura?" A soft, gentle voice rang in my ear.

"Come in, Mom," I murmured. The door creaked open revealing my mom's pretty face.

"Are you okay, sweetie?" she asked kindly.

"I guess so," I whispered. The weight on my bed shifted as she sat down next to me.

"Don't let Draco get to you," she consoled me, her arm reaching around my shoulders. I sighed again. God, Draco can be such a jerk.

--------------------------- Flashback ---------------------------

"What?!" Draco yelled, shocked. We had just come out of the Great Hall, and apparently, I was now in Gryffindor.

"Yeah..." I whispered. I was so shy in my first year.

"How does a Malfoy get into Gryffindor?!" He exclaimed. I shrunk down, beginning to walk away from him slowly.

"Um... I-I don't know," I stammered.

"Do you realize what you've done?!" he asked me, fury in his piercing gray eyes.

"N-no?" I squeaked.

"Our parents are going to kill you!" Draco raged. My back hit a wall, and I knew I was done for. "Well...unless I kill you first," he hissed. A small squeak escaped my lips. Tears formed in my light gray eyes.

"Draco...d-don't, please," I pleaded.

"I would...but then our mom would most certainly kill me," he mumbled, his straight blonde hair messy from his outburst. I sighed in relief. "But that doesn't mean I won't ruin your entire life here," Draco growled, pointing his wand at my chest. My red hair with blonde streaks fell into my face as my head dropped to look at my feet. Crystal tears ran down my face. I have never been so terrified of one of my own family members in my entire life. "You're not a real Malfoy," Draco snarled. He walked away from me.

--------------------------- Flashback over ---------------------------

A tear trickled down my face.

"Why can't he just accept me for who I really am?" I whimpered. My mom pulled me into a hug.

"You're the second in our family to get into Gryffindor. He's not used to this kind of behavior from a family member," she explained. I nodded solemnly. "But that certainly does not give him the right to say those awful things to you!" she added aggressively.

"I can't wait to go back there," I whispered.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~WHERE'S DOBBY?~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I strolled downstairs, searching for our house elf, Dobby. Dobby was a very kind elf, but no one else in my family really notices that kind of thing. I'm really the only one who will be nice to him. I thought he was quite awesome. This is exactly the reason why I was searching for him. He was the only friend I had out of Hogwarts.
"Dobby?" I called cautiously.
"Aura? Why are you calling for that pest?" Draco asked from upstairs.
"Um...no reason!" I replied nervously. "I knew I shouldn't have called like that," I mumbled to myself. I kept searching for Dobby. "Dobby, where are you? It's me, Aura!" I whisper-shouted. No response. No squeaky elf voice. No big, sad elf eyes. No part of Dobby to be seen. I looked in all of his usual hiding places. No house elf anywhere. I started to get really worried. What if Draco or my dad did something to him? What if he ran away forever? What if he was captured? I felt my heart pounding against my chest. My mom came walking downstairs.
"What's wrong, Aura?" she asked.
"Mom...where's Dobby?" I responded. She looked surprised by my question.
"I...I don't know, sweetie. I'm sure he's fine. Dobby knows what he's doing. You have no need to worry," she answered calmly. I nodded. She smiled, thinking I believed her.
I didn't.
