I woke up with the absolute worst pain on my neck and back ever! I was bruised from the nape of my neck down to my back dimples. I threw a white tank top on, along with short jean shorts, boots, and a loose blue flannel. I did my hair nice, and I added my wool beanie. I put on eye-liner, cover up, and lipstick, and my hipster glasses. I remember Slender. I remember getting high,  I remember everything. I don’t want to.

“Oliiiiive!” My brother said as he stumbled into my room. He gaped for a minute, catching sight of my bruises; and he walked up to me and glanced at my neck to my eyes. “W-What happened?!” He said quite loudly.

“Um… I fell in the woods... and it was bad.” I mumble. I could see the emotions switching in his eyes. Devan is my older brother with whom I have the pleasure of accompanying in our house. Both of my parents; Naomi and Rodger, were killed in a car accident two years ago. But Devan is legal age, so he took custody of me and the house. I am Olive Bennett. I am 17 years old, and I have sun kissed skin, blue-green eyes, brown hair and a light amount of freckles under my eyes.

“That’s why I don’t like you going out in the woods. Have someone give you a ride home, but if no one can then call me up. By the way...” Dev hugged me.  “You look good, even though you have bruises everywhere. Let’s get going, because you are officially late.” Devan sneered and tugged me towards the front door. I grabbed my bag on the way out.

-20 MINUTES LATER-

Slender fucking man.. He saw me yesterday. H-how does his game go? I opened my phone and went to the app store. I got a little nervous and my fingers were trembling. The rumors said something about pages, from what I remember. I downloaded the app and I gazed out the window at the passing by forest. Today was foggy, muggy, and rainy. I caught my breath when I thought I saw him standing behind a few trees.

“You okay, Olive?” Devan glanced at me as he continued to drive me to school. I can’t really thank him for how much he helped me throughout the years.

“I love the crap out of you, Devan.” I said, not moving my eyes from the forest. Devan has been my father figure for as long as I could remember. Rodger never really was my father… In all honesty he is the best brother I could ever ask for. He pulled over to the side of the road and he just looked at me.

“I love you too but what is really going on? I don’t believe you about your bruises. You’re nervous, and anxious. Something is up.” Devan shut the car off and prepared for the stupidest story ever. I glanced at the radio and then at him.

“O-Okay… here goes nothing. Yesterday I got into an argument with the slut. She claims she was attacked by some guy in a suit with no face. But… I walked out and began to walk home. But I took a nap and… and I woke up hours later. I was being followed and it was him. The guy in the suit. Slenderman… H-he hurt me... he did something to me and then I blacked out.” I said. I moved my hair and showed him four holes in my neck where slender had hurt me originally. Though to our surprise… they were healing.

“Oh My God! Are you okay?! Y-you don’t have to go to school…” Devan ran his fingers gingerly along where slender hurt me. I flinched a tiny bit.

“Oh Olive…” Devan pulled me in for a long hug. I fucking love my brother. I figured he’d say we had to call the cops or some shit. But no… I get a hug and a possible day off from school!

“I’m going to school… thanks for the offer. I just need time to think about this.” I told him. The app finished downloading, but I just put my phone in my pocket.

“If you need to go home, call me.” I love my brother.
