Chihiro finished his shift at Future Gamers (shush don't judge) and headed back home. He was designing a game using an AI as the narrator. Depending on the person, the AI will change up how it describes things or even change a few things in the game without changing the basic idea of the game. He was almost finished with the game, just a few more bugs he needs to work out then get it tested. He headed to his apartment a few blocks away, holding his laptop to his chest.

Thanks to a certain someone, he stopped dressing like a girl, instead wearing shorts and a t-shirt, sometimes wearing the button up and pants with suspenders, which was what he was wearing today.

The rest of the class; Makoto Naegi, Kyoko Kirigiri, Byakuya Togami, Aoi Asahina, Yasuhiro Hagakure, Toko Fukawa, Sayaka Maizono, Leon Kuwata, Mondo Oowada, Kiyotaka Ishimaru, Hifumi Yamada, Celestia Ludenberg, Sakura Oogami, and Mukuro Ikusaba went on to do their own things.

Makoto and Kyoko rebuilt Hope's Peak Academy, running it better and making sure there aren't any secrets they are keeping from the public. Byakuya is working on rebuilding the Togami company. Mondo became a carpenter. Kiyotaka went back to school so he could become Prime Minister. Celestia and Yasuhiro worked together to earn plenty of money. Sayaka and Leon worked with Ibuki Mioda to entertain people. Mukuro went around taking out anyone who was still brainwashed by Junko. Toko worked with Komaru to destroy the rest of the Monokuma bots. Hifumi decided to stick with Celestia and continue serving her. Asahina got a job at a bakery and Sakura became a martial arts teacher.

Chihiro was dragged out of his thoughts as he walked up to his apartment and noticed a motorcycle in front of it. Excited, Chihiro hurried in then ran up 3 flights of stairs to his apartment. Standing outside his apartment was Mondo Oowada, only his hair wasn't in the ridiculous hair style he usually had. Instead it lay on his head like normal, covering his right eye.

Mondo noticed him and smiled, letting the small boy hug him. He ruffled his hair and chuckled. "Good to see ya too, kid." Chihiro smiled and pulled away, looking up at him. "I haven't seeing you in so long! How are you? Have you seen Kiyotaka lately? Do you have a lot of customers?" Mondo scratched the back of his head. "One question at a time, kid!" Chihiro giggled. "Sorry, I was excited." "I could tell. How 'bout we go in yer apartment and I'll answer any question you got, ok?"

Chihiro nodded eagerly and unlocked the door, letting him in then putting his laptop on the coffee table. Mondo got comfy on the couch and Chihiro sat next to them, asking the questions again, but slower. "Alright, I've been good. No I haven't seen Taka since he went to school, and I've had enough to put food on the table and a roof above my head." Mondo chuckled.

"But I thought you and Kiyotaka were..." Chihiro trailed off. "After we went our separate ways we jus'... have seen each other less and less, y'know? It's not that I don' wanna see him but..." Mondo sighed and rubbed the back of his head. "Don' worry, kid." Mondo said, smiling slightly. Chihiro nodded and smiled. "Ok Mondo."

~Meanwhile, in another part of town~

"Let's see... I'd have a fifty percent chance of I promise that... Hmm... But I would have more if a chance if-" "You don't lie, and don't make a promise you can't keep. Tell the truth." "But sometimes the truth isn't good, so maybe put an optimistic outlook on things to cheer everyone up." Three people were discussing a topic of seemingly endless possibilities, but is extremely important to one of them. In total, there were two male voices and a female voice.

"You know nothing about wanting power. You just have to make them believe you're good then everyone will want you." Another male voices joined the conversation. "That's crazy! He's not going to do that!" "So you're against what I say, even though I have power by doing just that?" "N-no I-" "Enough, you two. Arguing over who's right isn't going to help." "Yeah... I'll figure this out, even if I have to do a all nighter!"

The other three sighed as the male who said that only looked at them in confusion. "This isn't school. You don't study so you can win. You need to have a plan." One of the males crossed his arms. The other two agreed. "You need to sleep so you'll have energy to continue tomorrow. The campaigning starts then." The smaller male said with a small smile. The male nodded and turned back to his work. "I will get this figured out no matter what it takes!" "And we'll help you with whatever you need along the way!" The smaller male smiled brightly.

The Four of them continued to work, although the one male couldn't shake off the feeling that something, or should I say someone was missing.

Dg22: And there's chapter one of Only Time Will Tell! Sorry it took so long, I honestly had no idea what to do after Chihiro saw Mondo XD My bad! But, if you can figure out who those four people are who are talking, then you get a free virtual hug and a virtual cookie! I want to trick people since I failed to do so in the first story. Anyways, unlike the randomness of the first story, this one will have them as they try to become successful adults, as well as times where the others will try to get the two back together. The Remnants aren't going to make another appearance unless I have high requests of seeing them again. Otherwise, they're still on the island. Anyways, that's it for now! Bye!
