Chapter 4
Maddie"This is getting hard to follow.. Maddie, your go."
Okay, Mads, think hard now..
"Well, you've already heard the first part of my story. I arrived with Max and Julie, Julie and I split up from Max and played pool for like a half an hour and then the drunken assholes, or "buff dudes" like Julie would say, came and broke up the fun. I was wishing you'd stay with me and get rid of them, Julie, but you left and I was stuck. I used the same technique as you did with Eric, I just said I needed to "powder my nose" and they let me leave. God bless their poor souls. Speaking of Eric, I actually ran into him whilst I was wandering the house, he asked me if I'd seen Julie. He was actually really worried about where you'd gone. I don't think he was trying to roofie you, maybe he just grabbed the wrong drink." I started to remember some stuff.
"Maybe he was drugged as well, that would explain his confidence.." Julie suggested.
"I agree. Anyway, I didn't do much the whole party. I was just trying to avoid those guys. I found my way into the home theater, I was just standing there thinking "how rich is Eric?" I found a way to turn on the TV and as soon as it turned on Joe fucking jumped out from behind one of the seats. He started yelling things like "please don't hurt me" and "I'm innocent, I swear!" I rushed towards him, he got me really worried. He looked pale, and he was a few different shades of green and blue. I asked repeatedly what had happened, but he just sat there and looked at me. His eyes were clearly bloodshot too. I told him to wait there for me, and I went to get some meds from Eric's bathroom, I also got a couple of water bottles because he looked like he was dried out from sweating. I ran back as quickly as I possibly could but he was gone. He looked like he was dying a few minutes ago, but somehow he ran away in the two minutes that I was gone. I pretty much spent the rest of the night looking for him. I kept calling his cell, actually, I called all of you guys to help me find him and nobody was picking up. I searched the whole house from top to bottom and I couldn't find him anywhere. At this point I was starting to lose hope. I didn't want to take Max's car without telling him, but I couldn't wake him up no matter how much I tried, so I slipped the keys from his pocket and drove off. I drove to Joe's house first, and when I didn't find him there my next best guess was his favorite hangout spot. The Star bridge. Before I left I noticed his car was gone, which meant he could've easily gotten there."
