"Honey, wake up! I made breakfast. You need to be ready to catch your plane soon." My mother calls from outside my door.

After I graduated from college, I moved back home. I graduated from the University of Georgia. Although my family lives in Georgia, I was still three hours away.

I stumble down the stairs and sit beside my sister on the bar stools. My mom slides the plate of pancakes towards me, "Eat up, dear! Your flight is in two hours." She states. I practically inhale my pancakes, and run back upstairs to get ready.

I jump into the shower and quickly wash my hair, shave my legs, etc. "Ouch!" I yelp. I look down at the cut I made on my leg with my razor. I roll my eyes and decide to ignore it.

I quickly get ready, and am ready five minutes before it's time to go. My father, mother and sister pile into our car. My family is biding me a goodbye, as I fly halfway across the country. I'm moving to Los Angles, California.

After I've gone through security I walk to my area. My family hugs me on last time before I turn to hand the woman my ticket. "Addyylyn!" My sister yelps. I turn to her, tears streaming down her face. "Be safe." She whispers.

I smile and give her a small nod. I get on to the plane, looking for my seat. I sit down next to a blonde man, with astonishing blue eyes. "Hi! I'm Niall, Niall Horan." The man says, looking up at me.

I smile at him and give him a nod. "Any reason your coming to Los Angles?" He asks, as I sit down. I look over at him and then up to the flight attendant. She's telling everyone to turn their phones off. I reach into my back pocket to do just that. "Umm I'm a nurse. I'm starting at a new hospital there. Addyylyn is my name by the way. Addyylyn James." I smile. He nods and then looks away. He turns back to me with furrowed eyebrows.

"A nurse? What hospital are you starting at?" He asks. I think for a moment. It doesn't necessarily have a name. "Los Angles Medical Specialist Hospital." I speak. He looks taken back. "Really? Wait, Addyylyn James, you're the new nurse. I'm a doctor there as well! Well it's nice to meet you." He smiles.

It's nice to know someone I'll be working with. It's a little ironic to meet him on a plane, but whatever. Niall is very sweet. Maybe I'll work with him. I still haven't met the doctor I'm supposed to be working with.

I fall asleep about an hour later. When I wake up Niall is shaking me gently, whispering my name. I blink a few times, letting my eyes adjust to the light. Niall gives me a warm smile as I thank him for waking me.

I have to get my luggage and find my car in the lot. I flew it here and they told me it'd be located on lane seven. After I get into my car, I blast the air conditioning. My black Audi absorbs so much heat, and it's already eighty-nine degrees here.

I unlock the door to my new house. The movers have already placed all my furniture where I explained to them. I had no way helping them, so my parents paid more for them to do it. I throw my keys on the counter. I have to make my a grocery list, I don't have any food for dinner.

I put my hands in my pockets to feel for my phone, although I find a chain first. I remember my sister, Alyssa, slipping it in there. I smile at the necklace and lay it on the counter. I take out a pad of paper and begin writing my list for the grocery store.

Once I'm done with dinner, I decide it's time for bed. I wash my face and slip under the covers. I'm so nervous for tomorrow. What if the doctor I work with is rude? What if no one likes me? What if I have to eat lunch alone? I toss and turn pretty much all night. When I finally drag myself out of bed, I have two hours to get to work. I take my time, mentally preparing myself.

I must constantly remind myself that I'm just another nurse, and no one is going to automatically hate me the first day. I'll just have to prove myself. I know Niall, I'm sure he'll be kind to me. I've heard working at a hospital can be like high school. Unfortunately, I'd be "fresh meat". I just hope the doctor I have to work with is nice. At least welcoming. I hope and pray today will go smoothly. I step out of the shower after washing my hair and face. After slipping into my scrubs and pulling my hair to the side in a braid, I put on light makeup. I want to make a good impression, but not be overbearing.

Hey guysss. So this chapter is pretty short, it's kind of just explaining what's going on. I hope you enjoy so far! ily xoxo - christin
