Chapter one about me .
A young girl thirteen whose life had so much
life in it until that one person ruined it for her. my name is Mariya Mendez my life may seem great because of my mother and due to the fact I get all i want well sometimes but I'm okay with that . I'm just a girl who loves helping others through their situations they have in life because me myself have my own problems in life to . I have loved and lost and yet my problem never gets better .
It was about when I was five years
old I lived with my mom and sometimes went to my dads house. His name is Samuel Mendez and every day I would go to my dad's house I would love it because I'd get to see my brothers eathan and jr. I loved them with everything I had but anyways when I went there we had a whole bunch of fun we went to the movies or hung out at the house and ordered movies from the redbox and a lot more fun stuff during the day but during the night was a whole different story .
every night till I was about twelve
was a nightmare every night I would be asleep on the couch and he would come out of his room and i was scared to get into trouble therefore, i would act as if i was sleeping so he wouldn't get angry at me. He would come to the living room and he would pull everything down from the waist down and he would touch me in places or he would rape me every night I was there. And of course only being a child I didn't tell any one because I was scared. I remember one night he raped me but after that he sat there and cried and begged me for his forgiveness and promised me he wouldn't do it ever again .
March 19, 2013 I was at my aunts house with my cousins and my mom just had gotten off of work. And me and my cousins were playing but then my dad called my mom and wanted to me to come spend the night but also during that time my grandma was on her way down from ohio but anyways, I knew why he wanted me to come over .... I told my mom I didn't want to go but she was trying to convince me to go over there but I refused and I told my cousin to go behind the shed because I had to tell her something.

I had to tell her why i didn't want to go over there i had to tell someone.
therefore, I told her " the reason I don't want to go is because he touches me every night and I don't like it " I said with tears streaming down my face her eyes got big when we came out form behind the shed my mom brandy just thought we were just trying to scare them and joke around but this was no joke ...
my mom finally realized we weren't joking around then she asked "WHAT HAPPENED ?!?"my cousin couldn't say anything but "tell her Mariya "and all my mom could say was "TELL ME WHAT?!?" after her asking me the same question over 3 times i finally built the courage to tell her so i walked over to her while tears streaming down my face and through my sobbing I said " daddy touches me down there ." my mom screamed "W-WHAT!! " I repeated "daddy touched me down there " and she hurried and immediately grabbed her phone and called my dad and she asked him " did you touch my daughter" "down there " . which of course he said no"I would never thats my baby girl " and she me again " Mariya baby did your father touch you down there be honest " I said "yes" through my cries, she called the police he came to my aunts to try to lie about it but the cops were there already I don't know what else happened because I was in the house they were outside the detective asked me questions and my mom just kept telling me I did a good job. But all I could think about is my daddy.
After all this happened deppression came over me I started pushing people away not eating not drinking just sitting in my room alone in the dark with sad music on after, all that i started out cutting which the first cuts. It wasn't bad just my wrist then started my whole arm was full then my thighs and then my legs were all covered with scars and cuts I have 459 cuts/scars on me as we speak.
