I took a breath as I stepped out of the shower, my hair falling onto my shoulders with a towel wrapped around my body. As I looked in the mirror, I chuckled while looking at the freckles that had taken their spots on my face again; I missed them.
I sighed and looked around in a box for a hairbrush and hairdryer. When I was digging, my eyebrow twitched when I couldn't find anything. I kept digging through the box until I gave up. I can just throw my hair into a ponytail when it dries to hide how bad it looks...maybe. If it looks decent, I'll throw on a hat. Actually, screw that - I'm not going to hassle the knots into a ponytail.
I cracked the door to the bathroom open, sticking my head out to see if my dad was walking down the hallway. "The coast is clear..." I uttered quietly, slowly opening the door the remainder of the way. Once I had it opened, I tiptoed out and to my bedroom.
Before I dropped the towel, I made sure that the curtains were closed and certain lights were shut off. Once I was content with the setup, I dropped said towel and grabbed the (f/c) bra and underwear that were previously set on my bed. Once they were in my grasp, I put the undergarments on.
Once the unmentionables were on, I folded the towel and set it on the small table I put up in front of my bed. Following the action, I made my way to my closet.
I opened the door and flipped the light switch on so I could see what I was grabbing. I noticed, hanging up, one of my favorite sweatshirts. I grabbed that and threw it on. Afterward, I dug through my bottoms and found a pair of torn up denim shorts; I also slipped those on. On the way out, I grabbed some socks and a gray beanie hat. I pulled the clothing on.
Once I was dressed, I stood in front of the mirror fixing anything I saw that needed to be fixed and nodded when it had been perfected. I grabbed a pair of white Doc Martens and put them on before I grabbed my beanie hat and threw it on my head; no point in waiting for my hair to dry when I'll be going outside in the sun and fresh air.
I decided to wear some jewelry (which is surprisingly rare despite my piercings) and I put on some very natural makeup.
I picked at the piercings I had on my face, looking at the lip, double-nose, and multiple ear piercings. I smiled and thought of my tongue piercing. At the thought, I stuck out my tongue and make a funny face before shaking my head, grabbing my phone, and walking downstairs.
(Here's the outfit! I'm sorry if you don't like it, I made it myself, based off of what I would wear, so....
Ok, back to the story!
(06/13/20): Holy shit these were so annoying I'm so sorry-)
I made eye contact with my dad, watching him as he looked at me from the bottom of the stairs with an eyebrow raised. "Mind if I ask where you're going?" he questioned, smiling wide. I rolled my eyes and grinned, nodding my head.
