The abandoned Hope's Peak Academy was soon remade into the well-known Villain Academy. The building itself was also moved to the Void, the plane of existence between the multiverse itself.
That way, the villains kept there could not escape. That's right; Villain's Academy was a prison.
The prisoners themselves did not know who the founder, their kidnapper, was. They were trapped in metal, bulletproof cells, with no access to the outside world.
Food was served to them three times a day, always slide through a slot by the heavily locked up door. Inside each room was a bathroom, a bed, and a single window. The window showed the outside, but since it was the Void, there was nothing to enjoy looking at.
The prisoners were never let outside, and had no way of communication with the their inmates. But this was all changed today...
In their cell sat a boy with short, brown hair and glowing red eyes. He wore a tan blouse with a lime green sweater vest that had a single yellow stripe. This boy's name was Chara, one of the villains in this prison. He sat silently on the cold, metal floor, staring at the ground. He held his knees to his chest, wrapping his arms around his legs.
In his mind was the face of an 'old friend', Charlotte. He had remembered her hurt expression from whenever she was forced to kill yet another innocent.
Despite how he acted, Chara had no emotions. It was difficult for him to communicate with others since he was empty inside. Thinking about Charlotte made him realize that his emptiness had an effect on her, mainly because her mother was half demon and that Chara and Charlotte shared the same soul.Charlotte, too, had died inside and lacked emotions on the outside. Chara didn't know what to feel about this, but every time he told himself that it was "his fault", there was a painful stab in his heart.
He didn't know what it was.
But he hated it.Looking up, Chara sighed. The silence, as normal, was unbearable. Getting up, he turned his gaze to the window. There was nothing to look at, but at least it gave him at least something to do.
Despite the footsteps he made, the only sound in the cell was the movement of the security camera in his room.
Chara stared outside the window, waiting for this God-awful boredom to go away.
A noise at the door interrupted his thoughts. He quickly shot his gaze to the door, expecting a food tray to slide from the slot. Instead, all he got was loud banging, which would have made any normal person flinch.
Chara only blinked. It confused him but he was curious to see what would happen. Slowly he approached the door only to become face to face with a pair of sharp claws.
"Huh?" He tilted his head, watching as the claws slowly pulled back and gripped onto the door.
The door was flawlessly pulledoff, and thrown away like nothing.Chara backed away from the door and was greeted by a black and white bear.
"Upupu..." The mechanical bear made a robotic laugh, and launched itself at Chara.
Chara rolled out of the way and watched as the bear fell to its side. Chara then dashed out of the now opened door, hearing an alarm go off as soon as he set foot outside.
Ignoring the loud alarm and the red lights, Chara continued to run down the halls of the prison. He didn't know why he was running, or where he was going. Then, suddenly, Chara bumped into something while turning down a corner.
Falling back, Chara let out a groan, rubbing his side. Looking up to see who or what he ran into, Chara was met by a somewhat older boy in a red jacket.
