"Edward, wake up!"
"Huh?"
"Wake up Edward, dad said he wants to see you!"
"Ugh, what now!"
I hate my life, I mean my life has been great but lately its been terriable. My dad has been having me meet him first thing every morning in front of the old church, but we have never gone inside.
"Edward! Over here!"
"Huh? Okay dad."
"Tomorrow is the day we shall enter for the first time together."
"REALLY??"
"Yes my son. We shall finaly see what your meant to do with your life."
"Finaly!"
"Now, go and rest, for tomorrow is a big day!"
I can't wait. Tomorrow is finaly the day I will see whats inside. Everytime I asked my father what was inside he would change the subject. But now I shall see.
"EDWARD!"
"Hehe, Hi Rose."
Rose has been my best friend since birth. She is a little older than me but ever since the first day my father introduced us, we have been the best of friends.
"So I heard your finaly going inside the old church."
"Yeah I'm so excited."
"Do you want to go to a party tonight to celebrate?"
"Sure, why not. Hehe."
"Okay see you at 11."
"Okay, see you later Rose."
That night I went to "bed" early and got ready for the party. Rose came and got me around 10:45 and had to sneak through the window.
"So where is this party at?"
"You know the tower at the edge of town?"
Of course I know of that tower. Its one of the many my father tells me not to venture to unless I've entered the old church before.
"Yes I do. What about it?"
"Well the party is at the top of it."
"How do we get up there without entering it?"
"We don't silly. Were going inside."
Oh no. My father warned me not to go inside of those and now what am I supposed to do?
"Rose, were not supposed to go inside of those."
"Stop being a baby Edward!"
As we enterd the doors of the tower, I could feel the start of something sinister. We entered the tower and hurried to the top. When we got to the top I saw a strange jewel sitting on a tripod. I didn't know what this strange jewel was so I had to ask.
"Rose, what is that strange jewel?"
"Oh that, thats the stone of Leon."
"The stone of Leon!
"Yes, legend has it that the weilder of that stone will have infinate power like a god."
"Like a god!"
"Yes, but I dont think it was a real story. Many of us have tried to obtain it!"
"Can I try?"
"GUYS, Edward here wants to try the stone!"
"Hahaha! Little Edward wants to try the stone! Go ahead boy, many of us have already tried! Haha!"
I walked up to the mystical stone said to grant powers like a god to whoever obtains it and I reached my hand foward. As I got closer, my ring my father game me started to glow. The jewel started to shake and shrink and moved towards my ring. I have obtained the jewel of power.
