Listen very carefully, because I have something extremely important to tell you. Yes, I mean you, the one reading this journal. Look, there are people who are simply going to skim to the part where I bring up the reason I'm writing this and then immediately put it down. If you are one of those people, then stop reading. Stop reading right now. (Not that you're actually going to read this part). Because what I have to say can change lives. I'm creating this in the hopes that someone will find it. In the hopes that someone can spread the word beyond the world that I can reach. I'm sure you're curious as to why this journal is entitled "Reasons Why Being a Werewolf Completely Sucks". Well, that would be because being a werewolf is the worst thing to ever happen to me. Literally. I know most of you are going to just roll your eyes and scoff, it's what I would do in your situation. That is the purpose of the book resting in your hands right now. I'm going to write down every single reason. Every teeny tiny minuscule annoyance that comes with being a werewolf. And you're going to see just how bad it is.
I huffed out a breath and swiped my hand across my forehead feeling like I had just run a marathon.
Writing is freaking hard! I thought to myself.
"Oh, wait!" I bent back down and started writing.
I should probably introduce myself, since you're reading my journal and everything. My name is Arya Shadowbrooke. I turn 16 tomorrow, which is one of the reasons I started this now. That's just one more reason on a very long list on why my life sucks. But that is going to have to wait until another entry. Back on topic, I'd say I'm pretty average when it comes to most things. I have a few close friends, an older brother who is a complete dick, and live the life of your typical teenager. Aside from the once-a-month pack howl sessions that are just plain boring at this point.
"That'll have to do because I am exhausted". I closed that leather bound journal and set it down on my bedside table.
"Tomorrow is going to be the worst".
