The Little Lightning Bug

Once upon a time there was a little lightning bug. The lightning

bug loved to fly and shine brightly

One day the little lighting bug got hurt and could not fly anymore. The lightning bug thought

As long as I can still shine brightly, I am still happy!. Since the little lightning bug was still happy

and shining his light, he did not think of how he would get home. Then it grew dark and the stars

came out, but the little lightning bug could not fly home. A little girl found the lightning bug and

saw it could not fly. The little girl thought At the end of the day I can go home, but this poor little

lightning bug now cant fly back to his.. So, the little girl took the lightning bug home with her, so

he wouldnt be lonely. The little lightning bug recognized her kindness and shined brightly to make

her smile. Once the little girl got home she decided to let the lightning bug go. Before the lightning

bug left he granted her one wish for her kindness. Thinking, the little girl said I have had a wonderful

day, and I meet you, a kind lightning bug. You lost something you hold dear to your heart, yet you

still grant me a wish for my kindness.. The lightning bug granted the little girls wish and flew away

home, shining so brightly with happiness, for the little girl wished for his wings.
