THORNE WAS RUNNING HIS HANDS THROUGH HIS HAIR as he was waiting for cress to arrive at the dessert he was waiting at.

suddenly, a shadow was cast over him. slowly, a aircraft descended down from the sky. with a creaking sound, the ramp lowered and cress walked down.

thorne's breath hitched in his throat, traveling down along her short hair, following the white dress that was flowing at her knees. wow.

cress ran over to thorne and jumping onto him she hugged him. "hi captain," cress said.

throne smiled nervously and hugged her back, "hey cress."

"what are you doing?" cress asked, stepping away from the embrace, "why are we here?" she looked at the surroundings around her in confusion.

"i wanted to see the satellite again. see it? that glint of metal behind that dune?" he pointed at the shining grey about a yard away.

"the satelite? why the satellite?" cress looked at thorne in confusion.

"because it's where we first met. come on!" grabbing her small hands, thorne started dragging cress over to the satellite.
