The Boys

I was I a bit nervous for today. My family and I have fostered before, but never people my age or all boys. I have read over some of the boys' personal booklets before but I have no connections to the two of them that I have read.

My family lives in the contry side of England and the they live in the streets over, very over populated, London. They do not seem to be in any way interested in contry activities. The eldest for example is into art and and painting. His name is Dan Greene and he is nineteen years old. Dan is muscular and lean with dark brown hair that is cropped short. The next one of the bunch is called Leo Greene. His page puzzles me because he has nothing under the interests category. He has tattoos  and piercing which repluses me. He must not know that they are permanent!

As I was beginning to read the next profile a black SUV pulled up to our drive way. I knew this was the social worker because nobody miles from here owned a car anything like that SUV.

I rushed to the parlor  where Ma and Pa sat discussing new landscaping for the front yard.

"Ma! Pa, the boys, they're here!", I exclaimed.

"Oh, they are Flynn, let us go fetch the door so we could meet our new friends."

I do not know how Ma can stand the thought of these boys! They were tattooed and peirced. I know Pa  wasn't as excited for the boys after he saw the photos of them. But on days like nothing could dampen Ma's excitement.

Even if I didn't like the fact that the boys had tattoos and piercing, I still would like to meet them. So, I stood with an artifical  smile on my face waiting at the door with Ma and Pa.
