~David's POV~

I awoke on the couch of our room. I was a bit groggy and couldn't really remember much of last night.

I looked down and then saw Rose cuddled up against me. I smiled and then looked around some more. I saw Chris on the other side of the couch sleeping and I confirmed that we were in the boy's room. There were several blankets and snacks spread about the area.

I felt Rose stir in her sleep. I smiled again and rest my head on hers. I heard her sigh. I then knew that she was awake.

"Morning." I grinned.

Then I heard the bathroom light turn on. I guess Chris is up. But no one else was in the room.

"Should we go and get some breakfast?" She asked me and looked up at me.

"Yeah let's go."

We get up from the couch and make our way down to the breakfast area where everyone else was laughing and eating.

"Hello everybody." I greeted.

"Well look who's up." Matt replied. He was wearing another one of the clothing items we bought him yesterday. A simple faded grey t-shirt.

I saw that Clara was sitting next to him and she held onto his arm. How good of friends are they? He should go for it she's totally hot.

Rose and I sat down together with Martha and Jack on either side of us.

"Are you both excited to go rock climbing with us?" Jack asked me.

"Rock climbing?" I asked.

"Yeah, you signed us up for it yesterday. Remember?" He said.

"Oh yeah! Sorry I'm a little out of it." I said as I shook my head a bit. "So who all is going?"

"You know, Rose and Donna and Martha. It'll be a blast." He told me and then patted my shoulder as I nod.

"I can't wait." I say as I start eating the breakfast.

~Chris' POV~

I was coming downstairs after David and Rose had left. Rose...

It was clear who she liked and I didn't want to interfere with that. But I can hardly deal with seeing him with her. Just like always David had beaten me out.

You know I thought that maybe just once I could be better than him. That maybe I could have something he didn't.

I should have tried harder. This is freshmen prom all over again.

You know I say that I don't want to leave America but do I really want stay? There is nothing here for me.

It's all been Matt and David messing about. What about me? I've done nothing so far.

Matt was lead in the play and won the fall season for the football team. David is gone almost every night for a party with all the popular kids. And what about me?

I've done nothing. At least back home I was somebody. My name had some meaning.

Am I really sad that we are leaving? What could make me stay here?

The elevator doors slide open, pulling me out of my deep thoughts. I stepped out and went to meet everyone for breakfast. Good thing Mrs Idris told the kitchen staff that we could come back. Otherwise I would not have gotten up.

~Matt's POV~

After a delicious breakfast my crew and I were driving to a particular fairground that River told me about.
