What Lies Within A Kingdom

Chapter Two

Many years had past since that day. Meira and Kai had not fallen in love but, had a child of their own her name was Kaira Senshi. Kaira was five years old. She had black long hair like her father, blue eyes like her mother, her skin was smooth and white like her mothers.

Kaira was outside chasing butterflies when she heard her mother call her name. Kaira lift her pink Kimono and ran over to her mother. Meira had a gold and white Kimono on, her hair was tide in a perfect loose bun with some hair loose at the bottom, black flat shoes and jewellery in her hair. Everything you can expect for a queen or even a empress. Kaira's hair was in the same loose bun and she wore a dark pink Kimono with light pink cherry blossoms for her Kimono's design.

Her Kimono was dirty and her hair messed up. Meira was out looking for her because someone important was here to see them. But Kaira was not clean anymore so, Meira quickly took her daughter to her room. Got her dressed into the same Kimono she wore but just clean. Did her hair but made it loose and placed a pink flower in her hair.  

The two then went over to the dinning room, where Kai and the guests were sitting waiting for the queen and princess to return. When they got there, Kai could not help but smile at his little baby girl. All though Kai and Meira didn't really love each other there was one thing that they loved and that was Kaira.

Kaira bowed at her father and then the guest as her mother had learned her and was still learning since she still had a long way to go. She then gracefully went and sit next to her father ,while her mother sat on his other side. Meira on his right while Kaira sat on his left.

"You are even more beautiful then i could ever imagine, but it is understandable looking at who your parents are."the man said to Kaira. Kaira examined the man carefully, he had his black hair tide up in a bun like the warriors that worked for her father, he had a black beard, black eyes and he wore robes that samurai would wear. She then realised that he was a samurai since she saw his sword that they called a kitana . Kitana was a sword that samurai or even warriors similar to samurais would fight with their blades were thin and the handle was made of strong material. Kaira then studied the boy sitting next to the man that seemed to be his son, he seemed like he was eight years only three years older then her. He had dark brown hair, green eyes, he wore the same type of robes like his father and had his own kitana. Not to forget that he himself had his hair tide. The man moved his 5p to touch his sons arm in signalling him to say something to the princess. 

"Yes, indeed. Your beauty is like the beauty of a cherry blossom tree."he said still keeping his head down to show respect. Kaira smiled and Kai gave permission for both of them to sit up right.

"To what honor do we have to have you here, my friend?" Kai said to the Samurai. 

The Samurais name was Haru Yamanaka and his son Nyx. The royal family had known many armies and one of them was the kings best friends clan that was a clan of samurai that only served the royal army. Haru had told the king that it was best if the children didn't hear of this.  So Kai asked for the kids to leave and told Kaira to show Nyx around, she didn't know why but, he did and the reason would change both of their lives. 

"So, Nyx is it?" Kaira asked while showing him the royal garden. Nyx hadn't said anything so far, all he did was  examined the surroundings as to remember everything and Kaira obviously realised this.

"Well, Im Kaira..."

"I know who you are?"

"Oh, so you can talk after all."

He then said nothing again. Kaira then showed him the inside of the palace she showed him every room, accept for the royal rooms and her fathers studies just for safety. When they were done the two went back to where their parents was since the tour must have been enough time. And it was since when they got there they were drinking tea.  "Ah, you have finally returned from your tour." Kai asked and looked at his daughter.
