What Lies Within A Kingdom

Chapter Fifthteen

The same night Kaira woke up and couldn't seem to sleep anymore. She got out of bed, trying not to wake up her husband and went out to the garden.

As she was standing there admiring the beautiful flowers and looked up at the sky and looked at the stars. She then placed her hand onto her stomachs and suddenly felt a little sick. "Kaira, what are you doing up?" May-may asked walking to Kaira.

Kaira slowly turned around with tears in her eyes. "What's wrong?" May-may asked in a worried tone. Kaira then began to laugh.

"May-may, I think, I think I'm pregnant."

"What?"

"I'm pregnant."

"No, no way. Your pregnant. Your pregnant. Kaira is pregnant." May-may hugged her and ran into the house and woke everyone up. Telling them the news, they then came out and hugged Kaira and Nyx was the happiest and gave his wife a kiss. "I'm going to be a father?"

"Yes, yes you are."

"Thank you."he said and gave her another kiss.

The next day Kaira and May-may was at the stores shopping for baby things. It was in the afternoon and Nyraxa had told the news to the village of Kaira and Nyx. "Mother, can't stop talking about the news." May-may said smiling.

"Yeah, I still can't believe it."

"Well, you should. We will take this please." May-may said to the lady at the store.

Just then there was a explosion close by. May-may and Kaira ran out and saw a huge fire was set to the training grounds. Kaira could feel how her heart had been hurt and ran over to the training ground. Only thinking and hoping that everyone was okay.

"Kaira Senshi."

Kaira turned around and saw a woman standing at the entrance of the village, being surrounded by soldiers from Zathana. "It's her!" May-may said to Kaira.

"My aunt?" Kaira asked.

"Yes. She is the one that tried to kill us and cast a spell on Meira."

Kaira then put her focus back on her aunt. "Where is my uncle and parents?"she said in a warning tone.

Sarah laughed. "Somewhere far away from here."

"You mean they not dead?"

"Of cause not, you would have gotten your powers and since you don't have the power. You will make it easier for me." Sarah then attacks Kaira with her Kitana. Kaira was about to attack forgetting of the child in her body. May-may then blocked Sarah's attack and used a spell that made Sarah fly backwards giving Kaira time to get away from here.

"But, May-may..."

"Go, Kaira. We Yamanaka's made a promise to the royal family and we need to keep it. Besides you have one of our own. Now Go!"

"Be save." Kaira said and ran to the back where she could escape from there. She kept on running thinking of May-may, Nyx,Meira, Nyraxa and Haru. Her tears flew down her cheeks as her mind went to negativity. She couldn't loose them too. Kaira managed to escape and was far away from the fight, she leaned against a tree, holding her stomach and wept. 

Back at the village May-may was still fighting Sarah and was badly injured but, was happy when she couldn't sense Kaira's presence, what meant that she was far enough. And Sarah was furious since she couldn't sense her niece anymore, she then held the Kitana to May-may's troat. "Where is she?"

May-may then heard movements at the broken training ground and saw Nyx and Meira survived. Nyx saw Sarah with her Kitana against May-may's troat, he was about to go help her when Meira stopped him and told him she knows where Kaira is. Nyraxa and Haru lied under the huge rocks. They were dead. Just as Nyx turned,back at his sister he saw the woman wasn't there anymore, she then appeared in front of him and thought she could get him, but she was wrong since Nyx blocked her attack. Sarah was about to use the spell that she used on May-may that made you do her work. Nyx dodged the magic spell and used one of his own that made Sarah paralyse, giving him time to go to his sister. He ran over to her Meira following. He saw that her body was covered in blood, he held her in his arms. "Brother, you need to go." May-may said.

"No, just hang in there please."

"You need to find Kaira, remember your promise, other wise father, mother and I did this for nothing."she coughed blood.

"May-may, please. Don't do this."

"Take care of your new family for,us." Just then Sarah tried to attack Nyx again, but then May-may teleport herself to block her from doing so and got stabbed with Sarah's Kitana. "Nyx, I love you. Brother."and with that golden flames shot out of her body, making a explosion.

Nyx had protected Meira and himself with his black flames. The woman Sarah was hurt but not dead, he then picked Meira up and teleported them to where he could sense Kaira.

Kaira was done resting and was back running again. She ran as far as her legs and feet could take her. When she was far away from the village she was about to stop, when she saw Nyx and Meira appear in the distance. She then picked up her pace and ran over to Nyx. When she got there she saw that it was only those two. "Nyx, where, where is the others?"

Meira and Nyx looked at each other. Nyx then took Kaira by her hand and was about to walk. Kaira pulled her hand away from Nyx. "Where is Nyraxa, Haru and May-may. She said that she would catch up."

Still no sound came from Nyx. "Where are they?"she screamed it out this time.

"They're dead. My parents couldn't get out and May-may she killed herself for us to get away and find you. They are gone."

"No, no, that, that is a lie."she grabbed onto Nyx's collar of his robe. "Tell me that your lying , your lying."

Nyx, let his tears flow. Not knowing what to say, or to do. Meira, cried as well seeing her father and mother sad.  "Stop, it mother. Father is telling the truth, they are gone. They not coming back, so please stop." Meira said and wept.

Kaira stopped hitting Nyx, went down to her knees and cried. Nyx and Meira went over to her and told her that they had to go. But Kaira, she didn't want to go anywhere. She wanted to go back, she wanted to see their bodies. Nyx, had stopped crying knowing that he had to be strong for his family. He then grabbed Kaira by her wrist and pulled her into a hug. "We have to go, Kaira. We have to leave."he said.

Kaira still cried and wasn't able to stand. So,she held onto Nyx, cried o,to his shoulder and held Meira's hand. "Okay."was what she managed to say. With that Nyx then teleport them somewhere where no one could find them, somewhere out of Zathana and it's villages.
