What Lies Within A Kingdom

Chapter Sixteen

The family arrived at the place where Nyx had teleported them. It was at another kingdom, they had never been in, except for Nyx. "Where are we?" Meira asked.

"This is the kingdom of magic, where magic all began."

"Wait, this place still exist ?"

"Of cause, this is where we Yamanaka's came to learn how to use our magic. We will be save here."

"What makes father say that?"

Nyx smiled when he heard Meira call him father. He then looked at Kaira who was still sad, she had been quite the whole way. "Kaira?"

She lift her head and only realised where they were. Nyx smiled a little, he saw Kaira's beautiful blue eyes again. "This is the kingdom of magic. And Meira to answer your question, they will allow us inside, for you see my grandmother works for the queen."

"Wow, how old is she?" Meira asked. The question , lift the aura a little, since Kaira and Nyx laughed. Kaira then hugged Meira. "Thank you." Kaira said.

"Who goes there?"a soldier said standing at the gate. Nyx lift his right sleeve and a mark appeared. The soldier saw and allowed the gates to open for them. "How, come I never noticed the mark?"

"Oh, cause I didn't need to show you. This mark is only for this kingdom, come."he walked and the two followed him inside.

"Oh, Nyx love, you're okay."a girl said and hugged Nyx very tight. "I'm so sorry to hear of your family."

Kaira just stood there trying not to make problems, since she didn't like how this girl was hugging and holding onto Nyx. Kaira couldn't hold it back anymore and walked over to Nyx. Held onto his arm. "Hey, love who is this?"

"Oh, Kaira. This is Princess Emmaline, Emmaline. This is my wife Kaira."

"Wife?" Emmaline said in a shocked way. Kaira smirked at the sound of how shocked she was. Kaira held her hand out to shake it, but then she didn't even smile at her. "And who may you be?" Emmaline said ignoring Kaira. Meira notices what Emmaline was doing and smiled in a innocent way.

"Oh, my name is Meira. Im Nyx and Kaira's daughter."

"Daughter, but you..."

"Yeah and I will be getting a brother or sister soon. I can't wait."

Emmaline, just simply smiled back at them, acted like she tripped and fell against Nyx chest. "I'm so sorry, Nyx."she then move a little to make her breast move against his chest. And stood up. "We prepared a room, but not one, I didn't think that you would be married to a slave."

"Excuse me?" Kaira said, showing she didn't like that insult. Emmaline smiled. "Let me take you to your rooms."

Nyx cleared his troat and simply said that he preferred sharing his room with his wife and daughter. Not liking what Emmaline called Kaira, if Emmaline had to know that Kaira was the princess of Zathana she would have swallow her words.

She then showed them to their room and they were left in the room, but Meira said that she would like to have her own room, Kaira that didn't like Emmaline said that she wanted Meira's room close to theirs.

When they were done packing and Kaira was in Meira's room, checking if everything was alright. Nyx went to go look for his grandmother with Emmaline and Kaira didn't really like that. "Mother, you're not worried of dad being with Emmaline, right.?"

"I really don't want to lie, so yes. I am, I don't like how she flirts with him."

"But, you and daddy is married. Even if it isn't by choice, he had a choice to make you his, so he did."

"You right. There, your clothes are ready."

"Thank you."

Just then there was a knock on the door. Meira went to open the door. A old lady was standing at the door, long grey hair and green eyes. She wore a light blue dress and her hair was tide in a low pony. "You must be Meira."she said smiling at Meira.

"Who are you ma'am?"

"I'm Nyx's grandmother. Lady Morgana. And I was dying to meet you two."she said and looked at Kaira standing at Meira's bed. She went over to Kaira and gave her a hug. "You must have been threw a lot, so you may rest."and let her go.

"Thank you. Ma'am...'

"Morgana."

"Yes, Morgana. Where is Nyx he went to go look for you ?"

"He did find me, that is how I knew you were here."

"Then, where could he be?"

"He will be here soon, if not he might be in the throne room playing piano."

"Wait, Nyx can play piano."

"Yes, that is how he mat Emmaline at a ball . Come let me show you around the palace."

Morgana then, told Meira and Kaira to come with her as she showed them around. When they were done with their tour, they walked into Nyx and Emmaline. They were in the throne room. Nyx was playing the piano, while Emmaline was sitting next to him. Kaira smiled when she saw how Nyx stopped after realising what Emmaline was doing.

He then turned around and saw Kaira, he went over to her and gave her a kiss. "I see you got to meet my grandmother."

"Yes and she is a very loving person."

Emmaline didn't like how Nyx gave his attenstion to Kaira and Meira. She was there too. "Now, Emmaline. He is a married man that loves his wife and daughter and you should respect that." Morgana said. They all then had a wonderful time eating at the huge royal table with the queen and Kaira felt a little bit better, since it has been long since she sat at a royal table and had a family.

It was time to sleep, Meira was already asleep and the two was in their room. Nyx was in bed watching his wife comb out her wet hair. "You know, you haven't been yourself when we got here." 

"Oh, really. I thought you never realised."she said, not looking at him once.

Nyx looks down at the bed and looks amused. "Oh, I see what this is about."he gets out of bed and walks over to Kaira and leans into her neck.

"What are you doing?"she says trying to hide the smile forming on her face.

Nyx then moves her hair away from her neck and starts to kiss her neck up to her ears and nibbles her ear. She bites her lips trying not to giggle. "You know you can't stay mad at me."he says and goes back to kissing her neck and this time down to her shoulders.

"Oh, I can stay mad with you, I just don't want to. "

Nyx smiles as Kaira tries to walk away from him. He grabs her by her wrist, pull her back to him, lift her up and grabs her by her but to keep her. He kisses her passionately and she returns the favour, not even aware of him placing her onto the bed. She swings her arms around his neck and kisses him slowly and he follows. The two just kiss each other, he slowly moves his lips away from hers. "Kaira, I love you and no one els. "

"I know, I'm sorry."

He then lie next to her gives her a quick kiss. She turns around, he holds her by her waist and the two falls asleep.
