What Lies Within A Kingdom

Chapter Seventeen

Back in Zathana Sarah has still not found anything of Kaira. "Where is she?"she says and trows her papers and stuff that was on her table. She then thinks for a while and remember that she hadn't asked her sister.

Sarah, goes to the study rooms windows and closes everything. She then walks over to th3 middle of the room, sits down and starts to chant a spell. When she opens her eyes she's in another dimension. The place is a beautiful place, the palace is made from white stone and the patterns with blue. This is the kingdom of beauty a place she had tried to forget, a place where she and her sister was trained to control their witch powers before going back to Shadow Claw.

She got inside of the building and it was burned in the dungeon. Sarah opened the dungeon door and didn't see her prisoners. Just as she was deep into the prison, she heard the door close. "Meira, your daughter, she left and you wont find her without me."

"We don't need your help."she said and chant a huge spell on the dungeon  door to make sure Sarah doesn't come out. "Why don't you just kill me, in stead of putting spells to keep me here inside?"she asked in a evil amused tone.

"Because, you are my sister."

"I have given up on myself."

"Well I haven't, I still believe that you have good inside of you."

"You can't go back to Zathana, they believe that you are dead."

"We weren't going back to Zathana."and the king and queen left the world,with Zaire.

They finally arrived at the magic kingdom where they had sensed Kaira's presence. Kai was dressed in the robes he wore before he apparently died. "Meira, are you alright?"he asked and held her around her waist from behind.

"What if Kaira doesn't want to see us, because of us not being there for her.?"

"I doubt it, I feel like she would be happier if she found out her parents is back. But since our world believe we are dead, we going to have to keep it that way."

Meira then looks at Kai and gives him a kiss. "Thank you."they then went over to the palace and managed to sneak past the guards using the magic of Kai and Meira.

They arrived in the palace and for some reason they were lead to a little girls room. "Kai, she has your neckless." Meira said. Kai went close to the girl and saw the golden neckless he had given his daughter. "She must mean a lot to Kaira." Kai said.

"Brother, your daughter is in the other room." Zaire said.

"We could reach her in a dream." Meira said.

"Let me,go love." Kai said. "Or both of us can go."

Meira nod her head and the two was about to go, but then the little,girl,woke up. "Who are you?"

"Shhh, this is a dream. Go to sleep." Zaire said and the girl went back to sleep.

The king and queen then left and went into Kaira's dream.

"Kaira, Kaira wake up dear."

Kaira slowly opens her eyes and sees that she is standing in her mothers garden in Zathana. "Why am I..."

"Here, we need to talk to you."

Kaira looked further and saw figures appearing. She was about to take her Kitana, but just as she touched it, it disappeared. "There will be no,need for that. "

"Then reveal yourself."

"You have grown so much." And her parents appear. Kaira can't believe her eyes, her parents was standing in front of her. "Is this a dream?"

"Yes, but we are real." Kai said. Kaira could not believe it was true. Kaira ran over to her parents and wept. They were just as happy. "Listen, Kaira. We don't have enough time. Listen, your aunt..."

"Sarah, that evil beast. She has ruined everything for me. Killed the Yamanaka family except, for Nyx and Meira..."

"Meira?" Kai asked looking at his wife.

"Oh, my daughter. Her room is across ours. Me and Nyx had gotten married earlier since, of a treat I thought came from uncle, when it came from Sarah."

"I'm so sorry that we haven't been able to be here for,you when you needed us the most." Meira said. Kaira hugged her mother and said that it was fine.
Meira then explained everything she knew to Kaira, the kingdom of beauty where Sarah was locked and how to get there. She even told her that Sarah couldn't be killed like a ordinary witch she had to be killed with a specific power. "Your power, Kaira."

"Mine?"

"Yes, that is why she needs you dead. And that is why we are here."

"Our magic is growing weak since the people believe that we no longer live. So we can't stay and soon you will have your power, the power you need to destroy Sarah. "

"No, mother. There has to be another way. Please." Meira and Kai then gave her a dagger.

"Use this on us."

"What?"

"We are dying anyway. Please Kaira you need to."

"I can't!" Kaira said and looked away. They smiled at her and their last words were they loved her. They then hugged her and both of them pushed the dagger threw their bodies.

"NO!!!!!"she yelled. Her parents powers then flowed into her body and they fade away in Cherry Blossoms. Something withing her awoke and suddenly she was surrounded by pink and black flames. And the place she was in turned into the garden she thought was a dream.

Ling the dragon appeared and saw her in tears, she had realised what had happened and couldn't control her power, she was to hurt. Ling, then went over to her and told her to wake up, but she couldn't hear him. He showed his respect and a symbol formed onto Kaira's left side and it burned into her heart that made her scream. "With this symbol burned into your heart you are now the true queen of Zathana and protector of our dimension, but first you going to have to go and find Sarah. Now wake up princess."

Suddenly Kaira opened her eyes and saw that she was back into reality. She looked around and saw that Nyx wasn't in bed. She quickly got up and ran out after smelling fire. There was fire, the palace itself was on fire. The first thing that went trough her mind was where is Nyx and Meira.

She gently placed her hand to the ground and sensed everyone's presence except for Nyx and Meira's. She got up and uses some magic to sense then and found them, they were in the kingdom of beauty, the kingdom her parents had told her about. She then chant the spell,her mother told her to chant and she arrived in the Kingdom, but when she got there. She couldn't sense them anymore. Where was her family.
