What Lies Within A Kingdom

Chapter Eightteen

As Kaira was walking around the place, that she had never been at she had seen what her mother meant by, the kingdom itself had fallen. The place was haunted, you could still hear the cries of the people. "Help me, please help me."a little girl said to Kaira. Kaira felt hurt and was about to touch the girls hand, when the girl screamed and her ghost appeared that gave Kaira a fright.

She closed her eyes and walked away. She then got to a bridge that was still working, but the bottom, where there was suppose to be water was fire. Just then she felt magic surrounding her, she turned around and was blast by a fire ball. "Well, well, well. My poor sister and her husband had died to give you the power. How pathetic." Sarah said as she blast another fire ball at Kaira.

Kaira got up and stood her ground. "Where is my family?"

"What, you have one of those?"

"If you don't tell me I'll..."

"You will what? Kill me, huh. Not even your mother Meira the strongest of witches could kill me, so how can you do it?"

Kaira took her Kitana and held it in front of her. She then allowed her pink flames to surround the blade of her sword, she took a step back and lunged at Sarah. Sarah blocked the attack, by using a spell, but Kaira cut right threw the spell and that made Sarah fly backwards. "Where is my family?" Kaira said with the sound of anger within them.

"You will never find them.!" Sarah said and summand flaming demons to surround Kaira, as she got a chance to get away from Kaira. Kaira looked at the demons and studied them,but still didn't know what to do to win them. She decided that she would let one of them attack and they did. The one attacked and she blocked and after they just kept on coming without stopping. As she sliced them they would blast her with a powerful magic spell and change their spell every time.

As Kaira is standing almost out of breath, she hears the sound of Nyx. She looses focus and gets a small,cut by her cheek by one of the demons. She holds onto that cut and looks back at the demon. She hears his voice again, she tries to shake it away, but his voice, just gets louder and louder in her head. She suddenly feels dizzy and can't seem to see anymore. Everything is blurry. Kaira moves back a little as if that would work. Till she comes to a stop when she felt that she was standing at the edge of a cliff and blasting light comes close to her, that made her fall down the cliff. She could feel how she was falling as if there was no stop to this falling. She just kept on falling. Till she landed on the ground, she thought she was dead, since she couldn't feel anything, her eyes couldn't even open. She then got glimpses of the good times she had with May-may, Nyraxa, Haru, Nyx , Meira and even her parents. No, she could not die, not after what they had done for her. She had to wake up, she had to get up, she just had to do anything in her power and fight this demons.

Kaira then slowly got to,move her fingers, she then slowly opens her eyes, she pushed with her palms against the hard ground, she  feels the pain in her back as she forces herself to get up. Just as Kaira got to her feet, another demon attacked her that made her slam against the rocks of the mountain. She screamed as she heard her back crack. There was no way, she could get up after that. "I'm sorry. I am sorry for not being as strong as everyone expected me to."she says crying.

The demons,just kept,on coming, they were now standing around  her hungry for blood, hungry for power. As Kaira looked at them she noticed that the demons use to be soldiers of this kingdom and there in the center was a red crystal, could that be the way to destroy them. Kaira had to find out as the one demon came close and swang his sword at her, she quickly moved her head and grabbed the red crystal, she managed to get it. But, it didn't work. She then heard her aunt say in her mind, that only killing her could save her. Kaira didn't know what to do, this was really the end for her. 

She closed her eyes, suddenly she heard the roar of a dragon. Kaira slowly opened her eyes and found her back in the magical dimension. "What are you doing, princess. This isn't the same Kaira I know." Ling said.

"I can't do it. I'm sorry Ling. I'm just not strong enough."

"Yes, you are. You are the peincess of Zathana. Wife of Nyx Yamanaka, mother to Mwira and will soon be a mother of your own. They need you."

"I dont even know where they are."

"Kill the queen. The answers is there. Kill Sarah, for she is the key to all questions."

"But..."

"No more feeling sorry for yourself. Get up and fight Kaira, fight for those you lost, those you still love, your kingdom and most important. Fight for yourself."

Kaira closed her eyes and when she opened them again she was back and saw a demon was about to swing his sword at her. She blocked it with her hand and the sword broke. Kaira then got up, still feeling the pain in her body, but it did not matter all what mattered now was to survive. She then formed her flames to go around her body as she attacked the demons and just like her mother said the only way to win Sarah was threw the power that on she held. Kaira had full control over her powers now, she fought the demons, they didn't recreate themselves as before but, they did turn to dust and vanished. When Kaira was done fighting them, she passed out since she had to still get use to using so much strength and power.
