What Lies Within A Kingdom

Chapter Nineteen

Kaira finally woke up and found her back in reality. She blinked a few times, but everything to her was blurry and her pain in her body was worse then before. Kaira then realised that she was tide up in chains. As she looked up, she realised she was inside of a building that seemed like a old burn down place that had been rebuilt.

"Ah, you are finally awake."a demon said. He moved close to her and moved the back of his hands against her cheeks. "You look so tasty."it says and licks his lips. Just then another demon called the demon that was standing right in front of her.

She then overheard them talking about a samurai and a little girl. Kaira immediately knew that they were talking about Nyx and Meira. Now she had to get out of here and find them. But even if she did get loose where would she start, she had no idea where she was or even how to get out of this place. "Now, don't go anywhere."the demon said and left closing the door behind him and locked it.

Kaira quickly scanned the place to see if there was any weapon she could use. She then spotted a butcher knife on a table what was on the other side where she was. Kaira tried to move, but as she moved it felt like thousands of knives was stabbing right threw her body and bones. But she had to get loose, she knew Nyx and Meira was trying their best to get to her so she had to do the same. The chains that was tide around her was to strong for her to break and she didn't have enough strength to summon her flames.

As she closed her eyes, trying to calm herself to allow her to go the magical dimension and find Ling. Kaira saw Ling sleeping in a cave, her magic had lead her to him. "Ling?"she called out to him softly. She thought he was dead till she saw him breath. "Ling, I need your help. Please."

He opened his one eye and saw her, he smiled and asked her why she was doubting herself. "I'm not, I just can't move, my body hurts and the chains is to strong."

"Another excuse, you thought you were not going to make it when you fought with that fire demons and now you are doubting yourself again."

"I ask for your help one more time please.?"

Ling looked at her one last time, he then blew some smoke at her that was the colour of silver that went into her body and she held her breath deeper and once she let it go she was back into reality.

She felt her energy was back and was enough for her to brake the chains. Kaira then allowed her pink flames to surround her one last time, she broke those chains like it was nothing and her body wasn't hurting like it was before. She felt her heart beating normally again, ran over to the table, took the butcher knife and placed it at the back where no one would see it. She didn't want to use her Kitana since she wanted to use it for one person only and that person was Sarah.

Suddenly she heard the door being unlocked. She quickly went over to the door and hid next to it. The demon opened the door and realised that she wasn't there where he had left her, just as he looked at the side where she was hiding, she moved quick enough so that he couldn't alert the others and killed him with that butcher knife. She then took the keys, ran out of the place and up the stairs that led you out of the kitchen.

When she finally got to the top, where the dungeon was, she leaned against the pillar as she felt pain at her stomach. She placed her hand onto her stomach as she scanned with her magic to sense if anything was wrong and noticed that the magic she was using was to strong for her seed in side of her body. She sensed for anyone being around and when she was sure no one was around. She ran into the dungeon.

As Kaira ran threw the hallway of the dungeons she couldn't find Nyx or Meira. Something felt wrong like this was nothing more then a trap. As she came to a end of the dungeon she realised that they weren't here, this was a trap. "Did you honestly think that I would place your family somewhere where you could find them?" Sarah asked.

Kaira turned around and threw the butcher knife at Sarah, she caught it. "You think I can't catch a knife?"

"No, I wanted you to."she says and summons chains that tide Sarah against the wall. Kaira took her Kitana and walked over to Sarah and pointed the blade at her troat. "I know, you can't be defeated so quickly. "

"You a very fast learner."

"Yeah, I got that from training with my husband."

Sarah, then burned the chains like it was nothing. "Are you holding back or I you just very weak?"she asked .

Kaira didn't answer and just stood a little back. Sarah got mad at her nice, she was just like her mother and father. Calm, never taking her serious. "Maybe, you need to be in courage?"she then waved her hand and at the back Kaira heard Nyx voice again.

Kaira held onto her head as if to block the sound of Nyx. She couldnt handle it and threw Srah out of the building, but Sarah didnt die since she just landed on hard ground rolling down a hill. Kaira slide down the hill, after he aunt. She gets to her aunt and grabbes her but as she touched her. Sarah blast Kaira with a silver magic ball, that made Kaira fly against five trees.

"Stop, playing with my mind. You have no right." Kaira says out of breath.

"Now, why would I do that?"

"Stop making his voice play in my head."

"Oh, that. That isn't me, that is him telling you to help him."

"What?"

"Look behind you."

Kaira looked behind her and there a little far away from them was Nyx. He was tide up against a wooden pole with black,chains that was busy sucking out his energy and he was badly hurt with blood and he was shirtless. With a lot of  scars, scars as if he was whipped. Tears fell down her cheeks seeing him there. What ever happened to him, Kaira knew he protected her and she had to get him away from this place NOW.
