Kelcie’s point of view
My breath is loud yet my sobs are louder. I can feel my clothes sticking to me as I rock back and forth on my bed. Memories of that night come back in flashes like it’s all happening all over again. I attempt to stand up and fail; I swiftly run to my bathroom and grab my pills for anxiety.
I flip the bottle upside down and two small pills fall out, with my hand shaking I take a gulp of water and throw the pills into my mouth quickly swallowing. I let out a steady breath and walked to my night stand glancing at the clock that read 3:23 A.M. of course. I launched myself back first onto my queen bed and waited for the pills to kick in.
My eyes burst open after an icy wind hit my face, it took my eyes a few seconds to adjust but then I realized I was on my freaking balcony.
I am on a cold balcony with nothing but a blanket and my pillow, what the actual?
“You are so fucking dead NATHAN” My voice was laced with anger and evilness. You see Nathan who I just so happened to be stuck with, is my brother. My older brother is obnoxious, oblivious, and obviously in love with my best friend.
I reached my hand to the door and pulled it open getting ready to sprint, as soon as I jerked the door open I was hit with a hard surface that flung me back. Aiden Scott. He looked down at me and said, “Hey you need help up?” thrusting out his hand towards me. I took it while mumbling “No its ok I’m fine I didn’t just get thrown back by a guy that resembles a brick house”
I quickly glanced up to see him rolling his eyes “I’m not built like a house; it’s more like a mountain or a wall”. This time it was my turn to roll my eyes so I did of course he caught the action quite swiftly.
My eyes snapped up after drifting towards his shirtless chiseled body after I hear a throat being cleared behind him. Only to see a horrific sight, my brother’s naked girlfriend in my bed and my brother, I quickly clamped my hands over my eyes and yelled for them to put some damn clothes on.
After the hairless rabbits got out of my bed I took the liberty of getting ready. I slipped on my blue Nike running shorts, black ‘Pink’ shirt that zipped at my neck, and ‘Nike” black shoes. My feet were almost out the door when I heard little angel feet running towards me.
I scrunched my face up in frustration; I thought she would sleep in today. “Momma” Mackenzie’s little voice says in her morning voice she must have just woke up.
I began to speak, “Hey baby girl! Mommas going for a quick run I’ll be back in an hour your Uncle Nathan is here just knock on his door and wait to come in till he says its ok” I quickly went out the door before she had a chance to play 20 questions.
Each time my feet hit the pavement I felt as if stress were just falling off me. Soon enough I was back at my door again.
