"Heyyy," Abby stuffed her rocks behind her back.
"What are you doing here?" he asked, his head whipping side to side to scan if anyone was watching their conversation.
"We're just hanging." Abby draped herself against the wall casually as if she belonged there, which, she supposed was half-true.
Heathen stared at them.
"Give us Yasmin," Salome demanded straight-forwardly.
"You give us Yasmin!" he retorted.
"What?" Abby got off the wall ans gave Heathen a puzzled but killer stare.
"Wait. Don't you have her? Didn't you escape with her?" Heathen hissed and his gaze stopped revolving and set on them.
"Well...this is not awkward at all. " Abby said.
"What are you talking about? Don't you have her?" Salome inquired. She shoved her phone in his face. "We were sent these coordinates by her!"
"The only thing that can track and send coordinates are our own devices with top agents." Heathen stated. Then his face dawned.
Abby let out a low whistle. It had just gotten more awkward.
"Why do you think we would come here if Yasmin had already been rescued?" Salome's voice was hard, and held a warning in her voice that was more powerful than the loudest scream of rage.
Heathen ran a hand through his perfect hair. "He's going to kill me."
"Who?"Abby challenged.
"So that means someone helped her escape. " Heathen avoided the question, thinking. "Do you two happen to know someone called Sarina?" he got out a very complex-looking device, swiped a few times and showed them a pretty, dark-haired, tall girl.
"Oh my gosh. " Salome said. "It's the dumpster girl. "
"You know her? Did she tell you she was going to help bust Yasmin out?"
"She did tell us that." Salome whispered into Abby's ear. Then," Why should we tell you?"
Heathen's hands balled into fists. "Tell us. Now. "
Salome's gaze was firm.
Abby muffled a laugh. This was so awkward.
"We need to find her. She could have been captured along with Sarina! Why do you think she hadn't gone home to you yet?"
Their gazes fell. Salome chewed on her lip.
"Aren't you professional peeps? You're supposed to know where she is with your scooby doo equipment and mystery van!" Abby poked her finger on his chest.
"Mystery machine. " Heathen muttered.
"What?" Abby growled in a feral way.
Salome pulled her back. "It's mystery machine Abby."
"Oh." she rubbed her neck. This is awkward, she thought.
"What's going on here Hea-" The rich, velvety voice stopped in a silky drawl.
Salome stared. He was so beautiful he didn't seem real.
He was tall and lean and smoldering with coal eyes that could read her soul, and with each movement forward, his muscles would ripple under the expensive, very well-fitting tuxedo. His skin was fair, unlike his hair, smooth and silky-looking and managed to fall into his eye-catching face. His chin was sculpted, and Salome felt heat on her cheeks when she noticed his perfectly chiseled, soft-looking, pink kissable lips.
But she all snapped out of her
daze when he glared at her. "My name is Drah. Now where is your friend."She realized, if she got past the dreamy voice and stunning looks, he was rather, well, mean. And she was gonna sass him.
(Ready guys for some roasts 😂😂💥💥🔥🔥)
"You know I don't like that tone one bit. I bet you don't even know what a friend is. I bet you have none and you're ordering everyone around because you think you got all the hots. Well you wanna hear something? You don't. You're an ugly duckling. Yeah. That's right! A duckling."
By this time, Drah's face was flushed and tomato red and slowly getting redder. The hands that were balled into fists were shaking and he was gritting his teeth angrily.
"You don't even deserve the title of man. Not even boy would suit you. I bet your parents, when they saw you, proud, but after, you caused them shame. So what do you do for your free time? You kidnap people."
Drah took a step forward, the vein in his creamy neck pulsing hard.
"Yeah. That's right. You don't have a life so you go around, whipping your hair and going nae nae like some stupid american jerk and getting people. What? Don't have a job? A family? Are you poor? I bet you stole that suit right there and I bet-"
"You don't go insulting me you random vermin!" he growled, stepping forward in a few long, powerful strides and pinning Salome up against the wall, his hands clasped in hers above her head, face very close. His breathing was harsh. Salome's legs were absolute jelly. Him this close, her mind was blank, and he looked even more smoldering hot than ever. She could smell his minty breath on her, causing goosebumps and hairs to rise on her skin, and his strong cologne of something that was just so fresh and intoxicating. She pushed the thoughts away. He was a stranger who had kidnapped her bestie. She would not back down.
"Get away from me you-" and she proceeded to insult him in korean.
He let go of her and went a step back, retorting to her in equal anger in korean.
Heathen and Abby watched in half-amusement, half-horror as the two quarreled in their native language, nearly spitting at each other by the end.
Heathen looked to Abby and tried to say something that would break the silence between them. He felt rather uncomfortable with his boss and the friend of his crush, erm, whatttt, person he had been training and was supposed to kidnap and develop feelings for, uh, whatttt, his queen. God. Even his own thoughts were awkward.
