Chapter IX
Annabel
After dinner we headed to the outdoor theater? I think that's right. Yeah. I walked with Junashri and her friend, Janaysha. I heard that the Apollo kids usually do sing-along gigs. Yay.
We took our seats with the Hermes cabin. Instead of traditional, Greeky things, well there was a Greek thing, but it wasn't a performance. It was Chiron, and this red head with stained jeans. She was probably the Oracle, Rachel Dare.
"Heros. Warriors, and everyone else." Snickers rang out.
"Very funny. I can't adress everyone for I have special news to share. Ms. Dare?" The girl stepped up.
"Alright. I know with the latest prophecy, we can't have even more problems. Of course the Gods aren't in favor with that." Thunder clapped. "Well, I'm sorry!" She yelled.
"Anyways, I have another prophecy. It goes like-" And her eyes started turning a poison green. The same colored smoke seeped through the Earth and enveloped her. Her mouth opened and she spoke in a tone that reminded me of slytherin creature's tone.
"Five of the new shall go to the skies. Assist the ones who fight Gaea's rise.
The dove, equine, and owls unite. As one, they reach the ship by twilight.
The one with the riches risks it all. Takes one breath, and makes her fall.
Fatal choices last the impression. And make the God's vital confession."
And then she fell. As if it were a job, people stood beside, behind, and even infront of her if she fell. It was the guys in the back's turn. They carried her off the stage. Murmurs began to go arouse.
"Alright. You all know what happens now. We must discuss and figure out what the Gods want us to do. Any suggestions?" It was silent, until Janaysha stood up.
"Well, sir. Let's look at it again. The ones who fight Gaea's rise; aren't they the Great Seven?" More murmurs of agreement rang through. Chiron nodded, and motioned for her to go on.
"Ok. The dove, equine, and owls. They would be............Aphrodite, Athena and, Poseidon? I thought Percy was the only one." Everyone agreed.
"Yeah, Percy was the only guy!"
"Do you think Poseidon had more children?"
"What if he did?"
"OMG! My make-up!" Everyone turned to the Aphrodite cabin. Wow.
"Well, anyways. The one with the riches. That could be Hades. He's the god of the Underworld, and all the things in it."
"But there aren't any Hades kids here except for Nico di Angelo!" Some guy yelled.
"Wait, that could only mean.......That could mean we also need kids from the other camp. The Romans." Shouts of disapproval bounced of the walls. Chiron stamped his foot on some stones and everyone fell silent.
"This young lady has a very much possible point. In fact, I am positive that it could be our solution. We'll only see what time says. Continue, my dear."
"The ones have to help the Seven. And, I'm sorry but that's all I know."
"She should be some Athena kid" someome murmured behind us. Janaysha blushed.
"Ok! They need a dove, and I'm just the one!" A girl from the Aphrodite cabin yelled. Oh gods. It was Drew.
"No! You tried last time and that other chick got the job. You over any other kid."
"Well, I didn't ask you." She's such a snob. "Chiron, I should go shouldn't I?"
Chiron stroked his beard. Oh please, you can't chose her. For Olympus' sake!
"Well, if no one opposes,"
"Wait!" Everyone turned to me. Wait, not me. Next to me. Junashri.
