Mari exclaimed in sudden shock, "sorry I was watching the tv, there's some sort of monster or uhhh creature nearby, I hate to say it but I think I'm gonna head home, sorry". "It's ok Mari, I don't want you to get hurt, I need to ummm get home too now that you mention it". "Ok, see ya Adrien", bye love ya". After walking out of sight both adrien and Marinette became their 'better halfs'. After Tiring jorney through Paris to defeat the illuminator, the two stopped on top of the effiel tower looking out over the lights and the stars. "We've got a minute to spare", said chat,"why don't we use it wisely?" With that phrase he leaned in towards ladybug as she walked backwards. Ladybug slipped but thankfully chat noir caught her. Unfortunately he dipped her and kissed her. She pushed herself backwards off of the Effiel tower and reached for her yoyo and a grip. "CHAT I CANNOT BELI-"she gasped. For the first time ever she was seeing chats true identity and couldn't look away. "ADRIEN?!?! YOUR CHAT NOIR?!?!" She climbed up the tower in fury. "Surprised?" Adrien exclaimed with excitement. "Only that my so called boyfriend is cheating on me with MYSELF!" Tikki then came flying out and screamed when she saw plagg. She pushed him out of the way in a hush hush voice. "How dare you Adrien?!?!" "What? Now that I know Ladybug is you our relationship can be even better!!"" No way!!! I can't believe you", Mari said holding back tears," you didn't even care about Maris feelings, what if I wasn't ladybug, what would you do then, cheat on me with whoever this ladybug was?!?! I thought you were a decent guy but your just like every other guy, I can't deal with that, and I gotta go deal with the people who actually love me and care about me for who I am, not someone shallow who just cares about themselves". With that she stormed off turned into ladybug and flung herself off of the Eiffel Tower into the city streets below and back into Mari and walked away. She only looked back once. If only she had looked back once more for the following events were all triggered by this single event. If only she looked back. If only.
